The answer to every question

I want to try and empower all those asking questions to understand that they themselves are the best person to answer their question. Yes, you can pose a question on quora or ask a tarot reader, or an ‘expert’, or your mate, and yes, you’ll get no end of very carefully considered, knowledgeable answers. Everything that is said is valuable (even the angry critics and the biting disbelievers) but they won’t be the answer you need. They will be perfect for another as they reflect their own truth but they won’t be perfect for you. There are no experts in this because everyone’s journey is different. Everyone is different. And you need the answer which is perfect for you. You need to discover and embody your own truth.

In the words of Luke Skywalker as he sends Rey off to save the galaxy, “You have everything you need”.

The timeless wisdom and the most helpful statement to embody on this journey is this:

No one else can make you happy. No one else can heal you. No one else can wave a magic wand and bring your beloved back to you. No one else can answer the questions you are asking. No one else knows you better than you do and no one else can make absolute sense of something that is meant for you.

It is the key to unlocking your journey and the only way you’ll get to your destination. Find your own truth. Trust in yourself. Believe in yourself. Know you have everything you need. Know if you need anything you will receive it and you will be the god/goddess that deep down you know yourself to be.

So, how do you do that? How do you unlock this mysterious knowledge within you?

It’s perfectly simple. JUST ASK. Ask yourself, ask God, ask the angels, ask whatever guide you resonate with, you can even ask your dog or your cat or a tree. It doesn’t matter. Just ask the question, and patiently wait for an answer. You’ll be given exactly what you need in the way that you need it. You don’t need any special powers or tools. You don’t need to be a yogi or a guru or a channeller. You don’t need to read tarot. All you need to do is ask and listen. It really is as simple as that.

How can I be so sure?

After all, if I’m answering questions I must be an expert right? Wrong. I am just an ordinary middle aged woman (I’m 50). Single parent to two teenagers. I work full time in the mediocre and boring world of local government as a finance analyst. I’m a pretty good cook. I like my home to feel and look good so it does (to me anyway). I have no special skills. I have no regular practice (I have tried to meditate, get into yoga, join moon circles but my time is very full with the life I have so it never sticks). I can read tarot (I learned in a few weeks by reading a book and watching other readers on YouTube...anyone can do it) but only because I now trust myself. I know I have the answers within and I know that what I need to know and understand in that moment will come to me in whatever form is easiest.

How do my answers arrive?

It can be in the form of thought, I’ll ask a question and the answer will just arrive fully formed in my head. Or sometimes I’ll get clues in what happens in my environment (things the kids say, the stuff that happens such as I’ll drop something) and I’ll collect them and pretty soon they’ll make a picture that fully explains what I wanted to know. Sometimes I’ll read an article or watch a film and the answer I was looking for is neatly encapsulated in the dialogue or the words written on the page. Sometimes I’ll simply ask google the question and pick the answer that most resonates with me in that moment.

But don’t trust me. Don’t try and recreate my experience. Try it for yourself. Want to know what the number 22 or 1111 means? Want to know whether you should reach out to the object of your affection? Want to know why you keep experiencing the same story over and over? Want to know why you’re feeling angry, or sad, or frustrated (or happy and joyful)? Want to know why your knees are hurting? Ask the question and you’ll get the answer you need. You’ll get the answer in the way that’s best for you and you’ll start to trust in yourself.

You’ll know that whatever you need to know is within you and you’ll know that you have everything you need.

That all said; if you do have a question you would like to ask about anything at all, please free to ask me and I will do my best to answer based on my own experience and expertise.
