Keeping The Snake Alive
A Devotional Path to the Saturn–Neptune Conjunction at 0° Aries
Something is stirring.
A long, slow movement in the sky. A whisper in the dark. A snake uncoiling deep in the roots of who we are.
In February 2026, Saturn and Neptune will meet at 0° Aries - a conjunction so rare it hasn’t happened in this sign for thousands of years. This moment marks the end of one world and the beginning of another. But it won’t arrive in a flash of lightning. It’s already begun. Quietly. Subtly. Underneath.
This is not a post about what will happen out there. This is a devotional path. A slow unfolding. A conversation with two living Gods: Saturn, Lord of Form, and Neptune, Lord of the Formless.
Together, They are the body and the spirit. The bones and the breath. The map and the mystery.
This thread is not about prediction. It’s about presence.
Over the next 37 weeks, I’ll be walking with these two archetypes, feeling into how They show up in life, in body, and in dreams. Each week, I’ll share a prompt or reflection to help you do the same.
We’ll explore how Saturn lives in you - the places where you carry weight, where you work, where you build, where you are tested. We’ll explore how Neptune breathes through you - your longing, your illusions, your visions, your connection to something bigger than this moment.
We’re not here to interpret the Gods. We’re here to remember they’re real.
The Snake is not a metaphor. He is alive. She is sacred.
The Snake moves between the worlds - the seen and unseen, the real and the imagined. The Snake teaches us to shed, to feel, to trust the slow turning of time and the invisible hand of the divine.
This thread is an invitation to keep The Snake alive. To stay with the vision. To listen for the shape beneath the story. To build a life that holds both structure and soul. To remember who you are.
You don’t need to understand everything. You just need to stay close. Stay open.
The Gods are speaking. They are not symbols. They are alive. And if we are willing to walk with them, week by week, we will find that They are not separate from us at all.
They are within us.
They are us.
As above, so below.
As within, so without.
Let us begin.

The Work of Devotion
The Gods
Each week, we will walk with Them. Sometimes Saturn. Sometimes Neptune. Sometimes both. We will learn Their voices, not through textbooks, but through presence. Through feeling.
Saturn tests. He contracts. He delays. He demands discipline, responsibility, maturity. But He also protects. He blesses what we build slowly. He teaches us the sacredness of limits, of form, of integrity. He teaches us where are limits stand and encourages us to push beyond them. He stands between the known and the unknown.
Neptune is the beyond. Neptune is the unknown. He dissolves. He enchants. He lures us toward beauty, divinity, and longing. But He also deceives. He washes away what is false. He draws us back to Source, not through control, but surrender.
Together, They are not opposites. They are the sacred tension between the visible and the invisible. The mountain and the mist. The skin and the soul. And at Their meeting point: The Snake.
The Snake Is Not a Metaphor
In ancient Greece, the serpent was sacred to Asclepius, God of healing. It moved between the underworld and the waking world, whispering in dreams and shedding its skin as a sign of rebirth.
In Mesopotamia, the snake was entwined with the tree of life. In alchemy, it devoured its own tail in a circle of endless becoming.
The Snake teaches us that nothing is ever truly gone. That endings are beginnings. That death is part of the cycle of transformation. That healing requires descent. And that to evolve, we must shed.
The Snake lives at the threshold of worlds. And so do Saturn and Neptune.
This thread is your invitation to honour them. Not as ideas. But as living, breathing forces. As presences shaping your days, your dreams, your challenges, your longing.
You may not “know” Them. But They know you.
A Path to Remembering
Each week I will offer a small doorway - a thought, a prompt, an image - to keep you close to the unfolding. You don’t need to understand astrology to walk this path. All you need is the willingness to feel. To notice. To let yourself be changed.
These Gods shape us both within and without. They are the forces that mould the world and the soul alike. By walking with Them consciously, we do the most sacred thing a human being can do: we remember who we are.
Because that’s the task, in the end. Not to rise above life, but to become it. To live fully. Embodied and divine. Structure and surrender. Work and wonder. Saturn and Neptune.
This is the long road. The slow descent. The sacred remembering.
The Snake is stirring. Let us keep it alive.

🐍 Keeping the Snake Alive — Week One
The soul doesn’t shout. It whispers. But if you lean in, you’ll hear the breath beneath everything.
This week, begin simply. Don’t go looking for grand signs. Just notice what won’t leave you alone. The thought that lingers. The feeling that returns in quiet moments. The ache that isn’t loud, but steady.
This is the snake stirring. Not a problem to be fixed. Not a puzzle to solve. But a presence to sit beside.
Reflection prompt: What part of you is still alive beneath the surface, even if the world told you to forget it?
Try: Lying on the ground. No phone, no book. Just your body against The Earth. Let Her remind you what it means to belong here.
🐍 Keeping the Snake Alive — Week Two
Feel the Gods Where They Live in You
Last week, we met The Snake. The sleeping serpent. The quiet current beneath it all. We began to trace the long, slow approach of a once-in-a-lifetime union: Saturn and Neptune, together at 0° Aries, in February next year.
This isn’t a moment. It’s a movement. And it’s already begun.
So how do we work with it?
This week, we begin with a simple prompt:
Where do Saturn and Neptune live in you?
You don’t need to know the technical language to feel them. Just ask yourself gently:
Where am I being asked to grow up (Saturn)?
Where am I being asked to let go (Neptune)?
An Invitation
If you’d like to explore what this conjunction means for you—where it lands in your chart, how it’s already stirring something within, and what Saturn and Neptune are asking of you—I’ll soon be offering Saturn–Neptune insight sessions.
This isn’t a predictive reading. It’s a conversation. A deep listening. Together, we’ll look at how these two Gods live in your chart and how they’re inviting you to grow, soften, and align with a life that feels more true.
You can book online here or get in touch if you’re not sure whether it’s right for you. These sessions are available via Zoom or in person at Essential Therapies in Sidmouth.
Come and meet The Snake in your own story. Come and remember what you already know.
A note on AI & my writing:
I use ChatGPT as a writing assistant—not as a writer. These are my thoughts, ideas, and words, shaped by my lived experience and deep love for self-work, self-awareness, the spiritual journey, and astrology. AI helps me refine, structure, and nudge me toward better phrasing, but the voice you’re reading is mine. I use it as a tool to help me put into words everything I believe is valuable in sharing my insights. Honesty matters to me, and this is simply one way I bring my thoughts to life.
