Week Ahead Forecast: 23rd to 29th of June 2025

If you are new to astrology read this first.

🌿 Astroweather | 23–29 June 2025

As Within, So Without

The week after the Solstice is always tender. A turning. A soft new start.

Learn about the Solstice: Solstice: A Moment of Pause

We’ve entered Cancer Season. The Sun has crossed into the waters of The Moon, and with Him, He brings a change in pace. The light starts its slow retreat. We begin to notice what’s been neglected. What needs tending. What calls for care.

Read more about the opportunities of Cancer Season: The Sun in Cancer: June 20th to July 22nd

And this week is dense with divine conversation. The Gods are busy. The air is thick with meaning. But this is not about knowing all the technicalities.

It’s about noticing.

What’s stirring in you? What’s showing up around you?

Astrology teaches us that life is not random. The ancient Hermetic principle—as within, so without; as above, so below—reminds us that the movements of the heavens echo in our hearts, minds and our environment. And vice versa.

When you start tracking the sky, you start tracking yourself.

You learn to spot patterns. You catch the stories mid-sentence. You see how your experiences are happening for you. You become an active participant in your life, rather than just a character being dragged through the plot.

This is the magic. This is the dialogue with The Gods.

Let’s begin.

Note: All the timings are for London (so British Summertime (BST) so adjust for your location.

🌞 Monday 23 June

Sun square Saturn (Sunday evening) & Sun square Neptune (early morning)

Moon in Gemini | Balsamic phase

This moment is echoing the crossroads Jupiter faced last week (remind yourself about the Jupiter Saturn Square here: Saturn & Jupiter: In Pursuit of Step by Step Progress) . Now it’s the Sun—our core self—caught between Saturn’s weight and Neptune’s mist. The God of Structure says, prove it. The God of Mystery whispers, lose yourself. And somewhere in the middle, you’re trying to remember who you are—and where you were going.

This isn’t a crisis. It’s a recalibration.

Saturn wants truth. Neptune wants surrender. The Sun wants meaning. And you? You might just want clarity.

Within: You may feel pulled in two directions—one part of you focused and ready to commit, another unsure whether the path you’ve chosen is real, right, or yours at all. There’s tension here between responsibility and longing. You might question your purpose. Or your progress. That’s okay. This is a moment to pause and ask: what matters most? Not what looks impressive. Not what others expect. But what’s true, even when the lights dim. Even when it’s quiet.

Without: People may seem vague, disconnected, or preoccupied. Plans might shift or feel uncertain. Some will double down on structure, others will drift. You may sense both happening in the same conversation. Be patient with delays and miscommunications today—they’re part of the atmosphere. But also watch for sudden clarity in the fog. This is a day for listening—not just to others, but to the deeper pulse within.

Let the questions breathe. You don’t need all the answers yet. “Have patience with everything unresolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves.” —Rainer Maria Rilke

🌞 Tuesday 24 June

Sun–Jupiter Cazimi (afternoon)

Moon in Gemini | Balsamic phase

A New Light Dawns

Today brings a special moment. The Sun meets Jupiter in what astrologers call a cazimi—an exact conjunction, where a planet sits in the heart of the Sun. Jupiter is lifted up. Purified. Illuminated. He dies and He is reborn. His message is renewed.

This is the start of a new Jupiter–Sun cycle—a seed moment for growth, expansion, and wisdom. And it’s especially potent because Jupiter has only just entered Cancer, the sign where He’s exalted. He’s home here. He blesses what nourishes. What shelters. What brings us back to ourselves.

Refresh yourself on Jupiter in Cancer here: A God On High: Jupiter in Cancer

This cazimi carries a quiet knowing that things can begin again. That you’re allowed to want more—and that you don’t have to chase it. You can let it grow slowly, from the inside out.

Within: This will likely feel like a good day. A lucky day. With enthusiasm for life, overflowing zest and joy, goodwill and generosity. A birth of something hopeful, even if you can’t quite name it yet. What truth are you ready to live by? What’s ready to grow? You may feel more open-hearted, more willing to believe in yourself again. Let that warmth in.

Without: People may seem more generous, chatty, or inspired. A sense of what's right and true for all may prevail. It’s a good day for connection, planning, dreaming bigger. Something might fall into place—something that shows you you’re on the right track.

🌑 Wednesday 25 June

New Moon in Cancer 11:31am

Moon conjunct Jupiter, sextile Mars

The Seed Beneath the Soil

The Cancer New Moon arrives full of potential. This is the start of a cycle that wants to grow slowly, with care. It's not about chasing. It's about anchoring. Rooting into what you truly need.

Read more about New Moon's and how we can embrace them to anchor into the moment and set intentions for the lunar cycle ahead here: New Moon Magic

Within: This is the real new beginning. A Cancer New Moon infused with the optimism of Jupiter and the motivation of Mars. It’s not loud—it’s quiet and rooted. What new intention wants to take seed around home, safety, family, care? You might feel tender, but stronger for it. This is a beautiful moment to start a new rhythm.

Without: Look for signs of renewal—fresh starts in relationships, the clearing of a space, a new recipe, a kind gesture. The world may feel more alive with feeling. Watch for emotional waves—but also clarity in what you need next.

🌑

This New Moon in Cancer is a quiet mirror to the Cancer Full Moon we had back in January (10th). Think back to that time—what was illuminated? What needed care? What felt raw or tender or true? That Full Moon may have shown you where you were still carrying unmet needs… or where you were being called to soften and belong more fully to yourself.

Now, six months on, this New Moon asks:

💭 What’s grown since then?

💭 What needs replanting with better soil?

💭 What kind of life are you nurturing beneath the surface?

🌞 Thursday 26 June

Mercury sextile Uranus 09:30 BST

Mercury enters Leo 20:09 BST

Moon in Cancer

Voice Rising

The God of Communication meets the God of Surprise—and this time, they’re speaking sweetly. Mercury and Uranus form a sextile (of the nature of Venus), opening the door for flashes of insight, unexpected news, or sudden clarity. It’s the kind of energy where ideas drop in sideways—but make perfect sense.

Later, Mercury moves into Leo, shifting our thoughts and words from soft, internal waters to something brighter. More expressive. More brave. This is the beginning of a new way of thinking—and speaking—with heart.

Within: You might feel mentally sparked today. A solution arrives out of nowhere. A truth clicks into place. You’re beginning to see a bigger picture—and your part in it. There’s an inner nudge to share, to create, to let your voice be heard. Start small. The point is not perfection—it’s authenticity.

Without: People may speak with more flair today—or blurt things out they didn’t plan to say. Conversations could take a surprising turn. A text or idea might land just when you need it. Uranus fosters authenticity—you may notice people being more willing to be their weird selves—loudly! Stay open. This is a good day to listen for the unexpected truth… and to let a new kind of courage find its words.

🌞 Friday 27 June (my sister's birthday 🎂)

Mercury trine Saturn

Moon in Leo (from 06:05 BST)

The Words That Hold Weight

Today brings a grounding influence. Mercury, God of Thought and Speech, forms a trine to Saturn, the God of Structure and Wisdom. This is a supportive aspect—solid, steady, clarifying. The kind of day where your words can land with meaning. Where what you say (or decide) has staying power.

Within: You might find it easier to focus today. Thoughts feel more coherent. Emotions settle into something you can work with. This is a good time for making a plan, committing to a decision, or saying something that matters. There's an invitation to speak from your centre—not to impress, but to be real.

Without: People may come across as more thoughtful or serious. Conversations might slow down, but they go deeper. It’s a great day for problem-solving, contracts, writing, or honest talks. Expect clear boundaries, quiet authority, and the kind of dialogue that builds trust—not noise.

🌞 Saturday 28 June

Mercury trine Neptune and beginning to oppose Pluto

Moon in Leo

A Day Made of Mist and Music

Between the Dream and the Depth

Today Mercury trines Neptune whilst starting to face off with Pluto. It’s a complex meeting of mind, myth, and truth. The air is thick with story, memory, vision. Something is trying to be revealed. But you’ll need to stay present to hear it properly.

Within: This is complex. Mercury—the God of Thought—stands between the dream (Neptune) and the truth (Pluto). What are you telling yourself? What do you not want to admit? Be curious about your own thinking. Are you seeing clearly—or through the fog of old fears?

Without: Themes of power, secrecy, or illusion may surface. People might project. Or confess. You might witness a moment where someone’s truth cracks through the surface. It’s not comfortable, but it’s real. Stay grounded in what feels true. Music, film, story—these might hit a little harder today. It’s easy to get swept up. Just make sure you stay anchored in your body.

🌞 Sunday 29 June

Mercury opposes Pluto (exact)

Moon in Virgo and joins Mars (enters 11:44 BST)

The week ends on a note of truth. Mercury—the God of the Mind—stands across from Pluto, the God of the Underworld. This is a moment of revelation. A confrontation, perhaps. Words become powerful. Silence, too.

Something hidden may rise to the surface now. And while it might feel intense, it’s also liberating. Because once truth is seen, it can’t be unseen. And that clears the way.

Within: This is the truth-telling. What did you uncover this week about yourself? Where do you need to speak with more honesty—or more care? It’s a potent day for clearing mental clutter, but also for naming what’s been festering under the surface.

Without: You might witness big reveals, power struggles, or conversations that shift dynamics. But there’s also space for repair, for getting to the heart of things. Pay attention to what people say between the lines.

🌌 In the Background

Uranus at 29° Taurus

This is huge. Uranus is in His final days in Taurus—a sign He’s shaken up since 2018. The ground is still rumbling. If you’re feeling the urge for change, the restlessness, the sense that something fundamental is ending—it is. Something new is coming. But this week, feel into what you’re ready to leave behind.

🌀 Closing Reflection

There’s so much magic in noticing. The sky mirrors us—and we mirror it back. When we pay attention, we remember that we are part of something greater. And that even our smallest feelings are part of the bigger story.

This week is a gateway.

Let it speak to you.

Let it show you who you’re becoming.

And if you want help understanding what these transits are awakening in your chart, come and book a reading. I’m available on Zoom and at Essential Therapies in Sidmouth on Thursday evenings and alternate Saturdays. You can book directly through my site.

The Gods are talking.

Are you listening?

Rising Sign Forecasts

🌑 Cancer New Moon

25 June 2025 | 4° Cancer | 6:31am (UK)

A New Moon is a monthly reset. But this one feels bigger. The Sun and Moon are both embracing Jupiter—God of blessings, vision, and growth. This is a new beginning soaked in potential.

Each of us will feel this New Moon differently, depending on which house Cancer rules in your chart. And that house tells you where in your life the seeds want planting.

Ritual: Do something just for the joy of it. Dance, paint, play. Let your inner child lead. Say yes.

✍️ Self Work | Journalling with the Gods

Journalling isn’t about writing something beautiful or wise. It’s about meeting yourself. It's how we catch the threads of what we’re feeling before they drift off into distraction or disconnection. It’s a space to be honest, unfiltered, unhurried.

This week, the astrology is rich. Big shifts. Soft beginnings. Quiet reckonings. The perfect time to pay attention—not just to what’s happening out there, but to what’s stirring in here.

The Gods are speaking. Let’s speak back.

Below is a journal prompt for each day of the week to help you stay in dialogue—with your inner world, with the sky, with the unfolding story of your life.

🌑 Wednesday 25 June

🌞 Thursday 26 June

🌞 Sunday 29 June

🌀 Remember

You don’t have to answer perfectly. You don’t have to reach a conclusion. Just let it come. Let yourself be witnessed by the page.

Even if you don’t feel “spiritual” or think you’re doing it “right”—you’re showing up. You’re listening. And that’s the work.

And finally,

🐍 Keeping the Snake Alive — Week Four

Making the Invisible Visible

“As within, so without. As above, so below.”

It’s a lovely phrase—but it’s more than that. It’s instruction. A quiet map. A way to live in right relationship with both the spirit and the soil.

We’re walking the long path toward the Saturn–Neptune conjunction in February 2026, where the dream meets the discipline. The boundary meets the bliss. The mystery gets a skeleton. The Snake is still winding Her way toward that point. She’s still whispering.

This week, She asks:

🌿 What if you began to trust that what you sense inside you is real?

Not just real in a spiritual sense.

Real in the world. Real in your hands. Real enough to shape something around.

We’re so used to dismissing what’s subtle. A fleeting feeling. A quiet longing. A nudge we can’t explain. But Neptune is strongest in whispers. And Saturn teaches us how to build slowly, faithfully, even when the vision is foggy.

This is not the week to ignore the signs. It’s the week to write them down. Sketch them out. Make room for them in your day-to-day.

🌀 What small act could turn your intuition into structure?

🌀 What dream deserves a container, a date, a place on your calendar?

🌀 What inner feeling needs an outer gesture?

This week’s invitation: Notice what you’re sensing—and give it shape.

Let the energy move through you into something you can touch. A meal. A conversation. A notebook. A choice.

That’s how we keep the Snake alive.

By weaving what we feel into the fabric of the day.

“The future enters into us, in order to transform itself in us, long before it happens.” — Rainer Maria Rilke

“Your vision will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.” — Carl Jung

And if you'd like some help getting to know where Saturn and Neptune sit in your chart, get in touch.

Starry night sky with text "Astrology for Beginners" in bold, white font. Cosmic background with purple and blue hues, evoking wonder.

For those new to astrology:

This forecast assumes a bit of an understanding of astrology and some practice at feeling into the energy of the moment to see how it's manifesting for you in your experience. If you are a beginner then it may not be easy to discern or feel, especially when the astrology is loud.

So, a recommendation: If you are learning, then pick one of the transits - whatever feels most interesting to you - and take note of when it is happening. Then just pay attention to what themes arise - I'll make some suggestions of what you might notice in the outer world and how you might tap into it in your inner world. Notice what’s showing up in your mood, your body, your conversations, or even in the stories you’re drawn to on telly or in the news. It’s not about getting it “right”, it’s about getting curious. That’s where the magic starts.

As you get more practiced with noticing you can expand your awareness to more than one transit in the week and before long you'll be immersed in the astrology and your way of being in, and experiencing the world, will have shifted into something altogether more magical!

For more on all this, read this post.

You may also find the rising sign forecast helpful because this will narrow the range to where you're most likely to feel and notice the transits in your life. If you don't know your rising sign then fill in this contact form and give me your birth date, place and time and I will send you a picture of your birth chart and an overview of your rising sign. If you'd like a comprehensive overview of your chart then book a reading with me and I'll explain it all to you!
