'These weekly posts aren’t predictions. They’re invitations. I’m not trying to tell you exactly what’s going to happen, because I can’t. No astrologer can. What I can do is show you the terrain. The weather. The conversations The Gods are having up there, and in here.

My intention with the weekly forecast is to help you feel that. To give you a way in. To open a window of possibility. What might this transit feel like? Where might it show up? What kind of emotional tone, friction, insight, or shift might be available if you’re paying attention?

Read it like a weather report. Let the words stir something. Then go live your week. Notice what plays out. Return and reread if you need to.'

🌍 Big Picture Theme: The Future is Cracking Open

Uranus, The God of Awakening, spins into Gemini this week (7th of July) for the first time in 84 years. This isn’t just any shift — it’s a generational pivot. The God who has been rattling the roots of our lives in Taurus now steps into the sign of ideas, language, and connection.

This is electric. Unsettling. Full of possibility. But like all true Uranian moments, it may not arrive in a way we expect. This is revolution. A sudden gust of wind, a glitch in the system, a whisper in the back of your mind that says, “You’re not meant to do it like that anymore.”

Learn more about Uranus here.

And on Thursday (10 July) we also have a Full Moon in Capricorn, illuminating what has grown solid and ripe — or what’s become too rigid to evolve. It’s a reality check. A bright light on the bones of what’s been built.

🔮 WEEKLY THEMES TO WORK WITH:

  • Readiness for Change: Are you holding on to something that’s already over?

  • Rewriting the Narrative: What stories are keeping you stuck?

  • Truth and Rigidity: Are your beliefs serving your growth — or limiting it?

  • Opening to Insight: What downloads are arriving when you’re not trying?

  • Facing the Fear of Freedom: What would you do if nothing was stopping you?

  • Authenticity is key: Where can you be more you? And where are you holding yourself back?

Your Weekly Snapshot

✨ Monday

Uranus enters Gemini

Within: Something in you may feel restless. Antsy. Maybe even irritable. But dig deeper — is it actually the voice of your deeper self calling you forward?

Without: Expect sudden news, digital hiccups, or strange conversations that spark new ideas. Watch the headlines for tech, education, or AI shifts. This is a taste of the future.

⚡️Theme: The wind changes direction. Can you feel it?

✨ Tuesday

Mercury’s Shadow Begins to Show

Mercury is slowing down now. The next retrograde officially begins on 18 July, but we’re already in the shadow — the stretch of sky Mercury will cross again, in reverse, once He turns around. The shadow isn’t just prelude. It’s the beginning of the story. You might already be noticing it: messages going astray, tech being temperamental, crossed wires or déjà vu moments. These little glitches aren’t here to irritate us. They’re here to orient us. To draw our attention to what might need review.

Within: Notice where you’re feeling friction. Where things aren’t quite landing. This is your first whisper from the God of Communication. Something wants to be rethought. Reworked. Reclaimed.

Without: You may see more small mix-ups in the world around you. Travel issues. Delays. Confusion. But also — unexpected reconnections. Ideas circling back. Stories that want a different ending.

Mercury retrograde isn’t a punishment. It’s a pattern. A cycle of re-alignment. Today might be the first signpost.

✨ Wednesday

Moon in Pisces

Within: There may be an urge to escape the tension building ahead of the Full Moon. Don’t numb out. Let yourself feel. This is the grace before the storm.

Without: Watch for confusing signals or emotional undercurrents in conversations. Something is brewing just below the surface.

✨ Thursday

Full Moon in Capricorn (18°50)

Within: What are you building your life on? This Full Moon could highlight where the structure supports your growth — or where it’s become too tight. Expect revelations around work, responsibility, or boundaries.

Without: In the world, we may see major headlines about governments, corporations, or leaders reaching breaking points. Something long-held may come to a head.

🪞Theme: What has stood the test of time? What needs to be restructured?

✨ Friday

Moon in Aquarius

Within: A lift in perspective. You might suddenly see things more clearly — or at least differently. Great day for new ideas or connecting with like-minded souls.

Without: Social energy increases. There’s a buzz in the air. But it may also feel detached — less about emotional closeness and more about shared visions.

✨ Saturday

Moon in Aquarius; nearing Saturn Rx

Within: A more serious mood may creep in. There’s wisdom here. Something wants a plan. Uranus is shaking things up — but Saturn still wants something to be real.

Without: Conversations may turn to responsibilities or long-term goals. Notice where people are drawing lines, or craving clarity.

✨ Sunday

Saturn stations retrograde (1° Aries)

Within: Time slows. There’s a pause. Saturn, The God of Time, turns to walk backwards. This is a review period — especially around courage, leadership, and how we act on instinct.

Without: We may see delays, reversals, or re-evaluations around leadership, ambition, or authority figures. This begins a deeper internal restructuring.

⏳Theme: You can’t rush what needs strong roots.

Rising Sign Forecasts

♊ Uranus Enters Gemini

Journal prompts for clarity before the shift into Gemini (Monday 7 July)

🔥 Aries Rising

Uranus enters your 3rd house

Keywords: Mindset, communication, siblings, your local world

This could feel like someone’s opened a window in your brain and let a fresh wind rush in. You might start to question the way you think, speak, and share yourself with the world. Expect shifts in your daily routines, sudden insights, or changes in how you connect — online or in person. A revolution in how you use your voice.

What to notice: The words that want to come out. The ideas that won’t let go. The places you’ve been holding back out of habit.

🌱 Taurus Rising

Uranus enters your 2nd house

Keywords: Money, values, self-worth, resources

This is big. Especially if Uranus has already been rocking your identity (while in your 1st). Now, it’s time to shake up how you resource yourself. How you earn, spend, and more deeply — what you believe you're worth. New ways of making income could appear. Old beliefs around scarcity might crack open.

What to notice: Your gut reaction when someone offers you something. Do you feel able to receive? Do you feel deserving?

🌬 Gemini Rising

Uranus enters your 1st house

Keywords: Identity, body, instinct, visibility

You’re the main character in this shift. The God of electricity is dancing through you. You may start to change how you present yourself — not just outwardly, but deeply. This is a liberation of self, and it might begin with discomfort. Your body might want something different. Your soul might need a new name. Trust it.

What to notice: Where do you feel confined? What no longer fits — even if it used to? Who are you becoming?

🌊 Cancer Rising

Uranus enters your 12th house

Keywords: The unconscious, hidden habits, dreams, healing

Uranus moves into your dream world. And this may not feel loud — but it’s powerful. Expect shifts in your spiritual life, your sleep, your healing. Secrets might surface. Old patterns might crack. This is a chance to radically realign your inner world — and clear out the ghosts.

What to notice: Strange dreams. Sudden emotions. The sense that something behind the scenes is changing — even if you can’t name it yet.

🦁 Leo Rising

Uranus enters your 11th house

Keywords: Community, friendships, vision, collective movements

What does the future look like for you? Uranus is here to shake up your long-term goals and who you align yourself with. Friendships may come and go. Groups and causes that once felt aligned may no longer fit. And new communities could appear — out of nowhere — that electrify your sense of purpose.

What to notice: What you hope for. Who you’re surrounding yourself with. The future you actually want — not the one you’ve been told to want.

🌾 Virgo Rising

Uranus enters your 10th house

Keywords: Career, reputation, public life, life direction

A new career path might beckon. Or the one you’re in might suddenly shift. Uranus is shaking the foundations of what you’re known for — and calling you to align your public life with your truth. It could feel destabilising at first. But this is your call to authentic success.

What to notice: Are you building your life on your truth — or someone else’s version of stability?

⚖️ Libra Rising

Uranus enters your 9th house

Keywords: Beliefs, travel, higher learning, truth

This is an awakening of the mind — and of your belief system. The truths you used to live by may no longer feel true. You might want to study, travel, or immerse yourself in something new. Radical shifts in perspective are likely — and they might open your eyes in ways you never expected.

What to notice: Where do you cling to certainty? What belief are you being asked to release — and what wants to replace it?

🦂 Scorpio Rising

Uranus enters your 8th house

Keywords: Intimacy, shared resources, death and rebirth

This is deep. You’re being asked to face your fears around merging — emotionally, financially, spiritually. This could bring sudden shifts in relationships, in how you handle money with others, or in your deeper psychological terrain. Power dynamics may come to the surface — and ask to be healed.

What to notice: Where do you resist vulnerability? What fears are trying to teach you something real?

🏹 Sagittarius Rising

Uranus enters your 7th house

Keywords: Relationships, commitment, how you meet the other

It’s time for new dynamics in love, friendship, and partnership. Uranus brings change — and sometimes breakups — but more often, it brings freedom. You’re being asked to relate differently. To choose connection from truth, not habit. Your relationships might surprise you now — in the best or most jarring ways.

What to notice: What kind of love feels safe — and what kind of love feels real?

🪐 Capricorn Rising

Uranus enters your 6th house

Keywords: Work, health, routine, service

The way you organise your life is up for review. This could show up in your job, your body, or how you manage your time. Uranus asks: Is this working? If not, He’ll zap you into new patterns — often through little crises that reveal where your habits are outdated.

What to notice: What systems are running in the background of your life? What’s breaking down — so something truer can take its place?

🌊 Aquarius Rising

Uranus enters your 5th house

Keywords: Creativity, romance, play, children

This is about joy — and reclaiming the freedom to express yourself. Uranus might stir your desire to create, fall in love, or take risks. Your relationship with pleasure is being awakened. But you might need to unlearn shame first. This is your invitation to be bold in your joy.

What to notice: What lights you up? Where are you still dimming your light to be accepted?

🐟 Pisces Rising

Uranus enters your 4th house

Keywords: Home, roots, family, foundations

The ground beneath you is shifting — but it’s not random. Uranus is asking: Where do you belong? This could bring literal moves, changes in family relationships, or a sudden urge to renovate your life from the inside out. Home isn’t a place — it’s a feeling. What’s yours?

What to notice: What are you building your life on — and does it feel like you?

🌿 Root Down to Rise

This week does have a freshness to it.

It may feel unsettling — like air moving through a room that’s been still too long. And the Full Moon in Capricorn only sharpens that edge. She stands as far from home as She can get. Opposite Her own sign. And yet She is not without strength.

Capricorn offers form. Ground. A place to stand when things shift around us. And this is a week to root into that. To remember that the breath, the body, and the earth are always here. Always steady. We don't have to hold it all in our minds. We can let the land hold us too.

Stephen Harrod Buhner reminds us of this in The Secret Teachings of Plants — that the body is a listening instrument. That nature has its own language, one that doesn’t speak in words but in rhythm, resonance, sensation. He writes that the heart is an organ of perception. That it knows things the mind hasn’t caught up to yet.

So if your nervous system feels a little stretched this week — soften into what is real. Let your bare feet touch the floor. Let your hands hold something warm. Let yourself be touched by the sky, the wind, the silence between things.

Nature doesn’t rush to explain. It just continues. Growing. Shedding. Becoming.

“The heart knows today what the mind will know tomorrow. The body listens when the mind will not.”— Stephen Harrod Buhner, The Secret Teachings of Plants

Let that be enough for now. You don’t have to name the change. Just be with it. Rooted.

And finally,

🐍 Keeping the Snake Alive — Week Six

The Descent Begins

Now Saturn, too, turns to walk backwards. The God of Time follows Neptune’s lead — and together, They begin Their long return to the depths. Back into Pisces. Back into the mist. Not to lose the path, but to trace it more carefully. To tend what was left undone.

This is not a failure. It’s not a detour. It’s the way of real change. The vision (Neptune) is only as strong as its foundations (Saturn). And sometimes, the foundations must be revisited.

You may feel things slowing. Unravelling. Dissolving just a little. That’s okay. This is the part where the snake sheds another layer of skin — the part that didn’t quite fit.

Ask yourself:

What part of the dream still needs anchoring? What unfinished inner work is quietly calling you back?

Stay close to the ground this week. Let yourself feel what still aches for resolution — not to fix it, but to honour it.

The Snake is not asleep. She is listening. Preparing. Coiling in the dark, waiting for the moment to rise again.

Starry night sky with text "Astrology for Beginners" in bold, white font. Cosmic background with purple and blue hues, evoking wonder.

For those new to astrology:

This forecast assumes a bit of an understanding of astrology and some practice at feeling into the energy of the moment to see how it's manifesting for you in your experience. If you are a beginner then it may not be easy to discern or feel, especially when the astrology is loud.

So, a recommendation: If you are learning, then pick one of the transits - whatever feels most interesting to you - and take note of when it is happening. Then just pay attention to what themes arise - I'll make some suggestions of what you might notice in the outer world and how you might tap into it in your inner world. Notice what’s showing up in your mood, your body, your conversations, or even in the stories you’re drawn to on telly or in the news. It’s not about getting it “right”, it’s about getting curious. That’s where the magic starts.

As you get more practiced with noticing you can expand your awareness to more than one transit in the week and before long you'll be immersed in the astrology and your way of being in, and experiencing the world, will have shifted into something altogether more magical!

For more on all this, read this post.

You may also find the rising sign forecast helpful because this will narrow the range to where you're most likely to feel and notice the transits in your life. If you don't know your rising sign then fill in this contact form and give me your birth date, place and time and I will send you a picture of your birth chart and an overview of your rising sign. If you'd like a comprehensive overview of your chart then book a reading with me and I'll explain it all to you!

A note on AI & my writing:

I use ChatGPT as a writing assistant—not as a writer. These are my thoughts, ideas, and words, shaped by my lived experience and deep love for self-work, self-awareness, the spiritual journey, and astrology. AI helps me refine, structure, and nudge me toward better phrasing, but the voice you’re reading is mine. I use it as a tool to help me put into words everything I believe is valuable in sharing my insights. Honesty matters to me, and this is simply one way I bring my thoughts to life.
