'These weekly posts aren’t predictions. They’re invitations. I’m not trying to tell you exactly what’s going to happen, because I can’t. No astrologer can. What I can do is show you the terrain. The weather. The conversations The Gods are having up there, and in here.
My intention with the weekly forecast is to help you feel that. To give you a way in. To open a window of possibility. What might this transit feel like? Where might it show up? What kind of emotional tone, friction, insight, or shift might be available if you’re paying attention?
Read it like a weather report. Let the words stir something. Then go live your week. Notice what plays out. Return and reread if you need to.'

🌙 Know Thyself: A Week of Inner Listening
This is not a loud week. There are no dramatic entrances or exits in the sky. But there is something happening. Quietly. Deeply.
The Gods are shifting direction.
Saturn has just turned retrograde in Aries — the sign of beginnings, fire, and identity. Mercury is slowing down too, preparing to turn inward at the end of the week. These two moments together create a kind of pause. A chance to stop pushing forward and instead start paying attention.
And one way I know to do that? Follow the Moon.
Why the Moon?
The Moon moves fast. Through the entire zodiac in less than a month. She is never still — and that means She’s always touching something in your chart. Always stirring something in your heart. The Moon rules the body, the emotions, the tides within us. She is the daily weather of the soul.
And She doesn’t require you to understand Her. She just asks you to feel.
Why it matters
We live in a world that prizes action, answers, performance. But astrology — real astrology — invites us to listen. To notice the patterns playing out in our lives and to make meaning from them. Not in a grand predictive sense. But in the everyday, subtle, living-through-it kind of way.
Doing the work to know yourself means asking the small questions:
What am I feeling today?
Where is that feeling landing in my body?
What might it be trying to show me?
The Moon can help you ask those questions. She moves through your chart, lighting up different areas of your life. If you learn to follow Her, you begin to see which parts of you are being called to feel, to process, to heal.
To learn more about working with The Moon read this.
Why now?
With Saturn now retrograde, the invitation is to take a more honest look at where we’re really at. With Mercury stationing retrograde on Friday, it’s a powerful time to re-think, re-write, and re-frame the stories we’re carrying. Especially about who we are and how we express that in the world.
But none of that insight comes from the mind alone.
It comes from the body.
From the Moon.
How to follow along
Each day this week, I’ll highlight a daily Moon check-in. Where She is, what She might be stirring, and a reflection prompt to help you meet yourself more gently. These posts will work best if you know your rising sign — as that tells us which area of life the Moon is passing through for you.
If you don’t know your rising sign, I’d love to help.
💌 Just send me your birth details and I’ll reply with a picture of your chart and a short overview, so you can follow along with more clarity.
You can request that here:
Astrology doesn’t tell you what to do.
It shows you what’s happening — and asks if you’d like to respond with more awareness.
This week, your work is simple: Feel what you feel. Follow the Moon. And let Her teach you who you’re becoming.
Your Weekly Snapshot
✨ Monday
🌕 Waning Gibbous | Moon in Pisces
The Moon is still full in feeling — but now She’s starting to shrink, beginning Her monthly descent into the dark. Pisces is a deeply emotional, intuitive sign, and when the Moon moves through here, it’s like tuning into a softer frequency. You may feel dreamy, tired, nostalgic, or unusually sensitive.
What to notice:
You may find yourself more porous — soaking up other people’s moods
Emotions may come in waves with no clear reason
You may feel the urge to cry, retreat, or be near water
Self-reflection: What am I feeling beneath the surface today? Can I give myself permission to rest, release, or drift a little?
✨ Tuesday
🌕 Waning Gibbous | Moon in Pisces
Another day in Pisces. The energy is still gentle, but it can also feel foggy or emotionally overwhelming. This is not a day for pushing ahead — it’s better suited to healing, dreaming, or simply being. Music, art, nature, and solitude may feel especially nourishing.
What to notice:
Emotions from the past may rise to be felt again
You might feel more compassionate — or more easily hurt
Boundaries may blur — it’s okay to take space
Self-reflection: What’s asking to be felt — even if it doesn’t make sense? What would feel like medicine to my heart right now?
✨ Wednesday
🌖 Waning Gibbous | Moon in Aries (from morning)
The energy shifts. After two days of water and softness, the Moon moves into Aries — the sign of fire, instinct, and forward motion. You may feel more motivated or restless. But remember: the Moon is still waning. This isn’t a time to start something new — it’s a time to reconnect with what matters to you and notice where frustration might be masking something deeper.
What to notice:
An urge to act, fix, or make something happen
Quick tempers or impatience
Physical energy — or a crash after trying to push through
Self-reflection: Where am I feeling reactive today? What part of me needs to be seen, not silenced?
✨ Thursday
🌗 Last Quarter Moon | Moon in Aries (exact at 25° Aries)
🔁 Mercury stations Retrograde at 15° Leo (4:55 AM BST)
This is a powerful moment of pause and pivot.
Mercury begins His retrograde journey before sunrise — and you may wake already feeling the shift. Thoughts looping. Plans unravelling. Words landing funny. But don’t panic. This isn’t punishment — it’s perspective. Mercury is inviting you to listen more deeply. To pay attention to what’s really being said. Especially in how you speak to yourself.
With the Moon in Aries, there may be an urge to push through — to move, act, do. But the wiser path is to feel. To notice. To ask what's really driving the impulse.
What to notice:
Communication mix-ups or delays
Feeling misunderstood or suddenly unsure
Tension between wanting clarity and needing space
Self-reflection: Where am I rushing for answers I haven’t fully formed? What part of me needs patience and kindness right now?
✨ Friday
🌘 Waning Crescent | Moon in Taurus (enters early morning)
After the intensity of Aries, the Moon steps into Taurus — earthy, steady, quiet. This is a moment to breathe deeper. To anchor. To settle into the new rhythm Mercury is calling us toward.
This is a good day to slow the pace, tend your body, and be mindful of overstimulation. You don’t need to fix anything. You just need to feel what’s here.
What to notice:
A pull toward comfort or simplicity
Resistance to change or mental fog
Your body’s wisdom speaking louder than your thoughts
Self-reflection: Where can I soften? What truth do I already know — if I drop into stillness and listen?
✨ Saturday
🌘 Waning Crescent | Moon in Taurus
A quiet, gentle day. The Moon continues Her journey through Taurus and is now in Her darkest phase. This is the balsamic moon — the final letting go. These are days of stillness, wisdom, and inward turning. You may feel low-energy or deeply contemplative.
What to notice:
A need for comfort, calm, or beauty
Longing for safety, nourishment, or touch
Resistance to change — or grief over what’s leaving
Self-reflection: What am I holding onto that’s ready to go? What does my body need in order to feel safe right now?
✨ Sunday
🌘 Waning Crescent | Moon in Gemini (from mid-morning)
The Moon enters Gemini — the sign of thought, curiosity, and conversation. But She’s still waning, still dark, so this isn’t a day to speak too soon. Instead, it’s a moment to notice the chatter inside: the thoughts, the assumptions, the voices that narrate your world.
What to notice:
New questions arising
Mental stimulation or restlessness
A desire to connect — or a fear of being misunderstood
Self-reflection: What stories am I rehearsing in my mind today? What would it feel like to listen instead of solve?
Rising Sign Forecasts
🔁 Mercury Retrograde in Leo | 17 July – 11 August 2025
Rethinking Your Voice, Rewriting Your Story
Mercury turns retrograde this week — in the sign of Leo — inviting us to slow down, review, and reflect on how we speak, express, and show up in the world.
But this is no ordinary retrograde.
Because Uranus has just entered Gemini — one of Mercury’s home signs. And this changes the flavour. Uranus is the God of awakening, of disruption, of truth. He doesn’t do small talk. He arrives with lightning — to shake us out of old patterns and free us from stale stories.
When Mercury turns inward under Uranus’ electric gaze, we may experience this retrograde more intensely than usual. Glitches might be sharper. Insights might be sudden. But underneath the chaos, the invitation is this:
Be more you. Not the polished version. The real one.
Because Uranus in Gemini is here to liberate your voice — your true voice. And this Mercury retrograde is the first test. Where are you still holding back? Playing safe? Speaking from the script you were handed rather than the one that’s trying to rise from within?
This retrograde isn’t about fixing your communication style — it’s about reclaiming your right to speak from the heart.
Let the misfires show you what’s no longer working. Let the silence teach you how to listen. Let the rewrites reconnect you with your fire.
The more authentic you are, the better this goes.
♈️ Aries Rising
5th House – Creativity, romance, expression
Mercury is reworking how you share your heart. With Uranus now sparking your house of communication, this could be a breakthrough moment — or a plot twist. Speak from the truth, not from who you think you need to be.
Watch for: Creative frustration, mixed signals in love, pressure to “perform”
Reframe: Where have I been dimming my joy? What does authentic play look like for me now?
♉️ Taurus Rising
4th House – Home, family, inner foundation
Old stories from childhood may reappear — not to haunt, but to heal. With Uranus now in your 2nd house (your values), the question becomes: what old emotional patterns are keeping you stuck in someone else's definition of safety?
Watch for: Family miscommunications, home tech breakdowns
Reframe: What does true security feel like — and am I allowed to define it for myself?
♊️ Gemini Rising
3rd House – Communication, thinking, learning
This is your realm. And now both Mercury and Uranus are activating it. Expect the unexpected — but also expect flashes of insight, powerful rethinking, and mental rewiring. Don’t be afraid to change your mind.
Watch for: Overthinking, tech dramas, plans going sideways
Reframe: What truth wants to come through me, unfiltered and unedited?
♋️ Cancer Rising
2nd House – Money, worth, self-esteem
You’re rethinking your value — and with Uranus shaking up your 12th house, unconscious fears about not-enoughness might bubble up. But this is a chance to get radically honest about your self-worth.
Watch for: Wobbles around money, doubts about what you deserve
Reframe: What old belief is keeping me small — and what truth am I ready to live instead?
♌️ Leo Rising
1st House – Identity, presence, visibility
Mercury is backtracking through your sign — and Uranus is agitating your career zone. There may be disruptions around how you’re seen, but this is the moment to align image with integrity. No more performing.
Watch for: Wavering confidence, changes to how others perceive you
Reframe: Who am I when I stop trying to impress — and just show up?
♍️ Virgo Rising
12th House – Subconscious, retreat, inner work
Your ruler is retrograde in the hidden part of your chart, and Uranus is activating your higher mind. Together, they’re rewriting your relationship to truth — and to silence. You may need more solitude than usual. Honour that.
Watch for: Mental fog, emotional sensitivity, intuitive overload
Reframe: What do I believe now that I didn’t know before — and how does that shape my healing?
♎️ Libra Rising
11th House – Friends, community, hopes
Mercury’s retrograde may stir confusion in friendships or group dynamics — who’s really with you? Who’s just an echo of the past? Meanwhile, Uranus is shaking up your bigger vision. What you believe about the world — and your place in it — is shifting.
Watch for: Group misunderstandings, tension between belonging and truth
Reframe: Where am I being called to speak up or think differently — even if it sets me apart?
♏️ Scorpio Rising
Mercury Retrograde: 10th House – Career, purpose, public life
Career questions may be up for review, but don’t ignore the deeper current: Uranus in your 8th is challenging how you trust, share, and merge — emotionally and materially.
Watch for: Work disruptions that echo deeper issues of control or trust
Reframe: How is my professional path reflecting (or ignoring) my need for authenticity in relationships?
♐️ Sagittarius Rising
Mercury Retrograde: 9th House – Beliefs, teaching, expansion
As Mercury rewrites your worldview, Uranus is stirring surprises in your one-on-one connections. The two are linked. What you believe shapes who you walk alongside.
Watch for: Shifts in beliefs that disrupt partnerships (or vice versa)
Reframe: What is a relationship asking me to see differently?
♑️ Capricorn Rising
Mercury Retrograde: 8th House – Intimacy, power, shared resources
You’re diving deep into emotional entanglements and shared power dynamics. Meanwhile, Uranus shakes up your daily rhythm — how you work, how you care for your body.
Watch for: Emotional overwhelm meeting practical chaos
Reframe: What inner tension is being mirrored in my day-to-day life?
♒️ Aquarius Rising
Mercury Retrograde: 7th House – Relationships, connection, commitment
Your relationships are up for review — especially how you show up, speak, and listen. At the same time, Uranus wants you to rediscover joy, originality, and creative spark.
Watch for: Confusion around romantic or creative expression
Reframe: How can I bring more truth — and fun — into my closest connections?
♓️ Pisces Rising
Mercury Retrograde: 6th House – Work, health, daily rhythm
Your routines need a rethink, but Uranus is stirring deeper: your foundations, your sense of “home.” Something wants to be liberated at the root level.
Watch for: Discomfort at home or in the body that asks for deeper listening
Reframe: What part of me needs freedom — not just adjustment?
🌙 Feel into it
This is not a week for having it all figured out.
It’s a week for feeling your way through — moment by moment, breath by breath. A week to notice what’s stirring below the surface. To let the Moon move through you, as She moves through the sky.
The work is not to fix yourself. The work is to feel yourself.
Let the emotions come. Let them shift. Let them speak. Even the ones that feel inconvenient or strange. Especially those.
You don’t need to label it all. Or get it right. Or make it neat.
You just need to be willing to listen.
Like Rumi’s poem The Guesthouse reminds us — every feeling is a visitor. A messenger. A part of you asking to be welcomed. Joy, sadness, shame, confusion… they all belong. They all carry wisdom.
“This being human is a guesthouse. Every morning a new arrival. A joy, a depression, a meanness, some momentary awareness comes as an unexpected visitor… Welcome and entertain them all.”
So this week, give yourself the grace to feel. To slow down. To revise not just your calendar — but your relationship with yourself. That’s what Mercury is helping us do. That’s what the Moon is showing us. That’s what Saturn and Neptune are drawing us toward.
Real change begins here. In the pause. In the noticing. In the quiet honouring of your truth.
You don’t have to do it all. You just have to be with yourself as you are. That’s how you know yourself. That’s how you begin.
And if you'd like a reading to look at it all with my help, book in on my website. I’m available on Zoom and at Essential Therapies in Sidmouth on Thursday evenings and alternate Saturdays.

And finally,
🐍 Keeping the Snake Alive — Week Seven
Sparks in the Dark
The descent continues — but something crackles in the shadows now. A flicker. A jolt. Not loud, but unmistakable.
Saturn and Neptune are still walking backwards through the mist, retracing old soul terrain. But Uranus — freshly in Gemini — is listening too. He won’t join the conversation fully until next year, when all three meet at 0° Aries. But already, He’s sending signals.
This is the Snake’s deeper magic. Not just release. But revelation.
We’re not just reviewing old dreams. We’re being asked to think differently. To question the scripts we’ve inherited. To awaken our inner knowing.
This isn’t about rebellion for rebellion’s sake. It’s about truth. The kind that startles you awake at 3am. The kind you’ve known all along but buried beneath “shoulds.”
Let this week be one of quiet recalibration. What if the insight you’re waiting for is already inside you — just spoken in a different language?
The Snake is coiled in stillness. But Her senses are alive. And the air is beginning to hum.
And if you'd like some help getting to know where Saturn and Neptune sit in your chart, get in touch.

For those new to astrology:
This forecast assumes a bit of an understanding of astrology and some practice at feeling into the energy of the moment to see how it's manifesting for you in your experience. If you are a beginner then it may not be easy to discern or feel, especially when the astrology is loud.
So, a recommendation: If you are learning, then pick one of the transits - whatever feels most interesting to you - and take note of when it is happening. Then just pay attention to what themes arise - I'll make some suggestions of what you might notice in the outer world and how you might tap into it in your inner world. Notice what’s showing up in your mood, your body, your conversations, or even in the stories you’re drawn to on telly or in the news. It’s not about getting it “right”, it’s about getting curious. That’s where the magic starts.
As you get more practiced with noticing you can expand your awareness to more than one transit in the week and before long you'll be immersed in the astrology and your way of being in, and experiencing the world, will have shifted into something altogether more magical!
For more on all this, read this post.
You may also find the rising sign forecast helpful because this will narrow the range to where you're most likely to feel and notice the transits in your life.
