- Escaping Twin Flames Universe: my perspective for Twin Flames
Maybe you've arrived here because you've watched one of the Escaping Twin Flames documentaries on Amazon Prime or Netflix, or perhaps you are a member of TFU and just happened upon this blog post. Either way I hope to clarify a few things regarding the journey and its teachers for those who relate to the Twin Flame Journey and the label Twin Flame . Escaping Twin Flames Universe (TFU) This is for those who relate to the twin flame journey: Key points: Resonating with the Twin Flame Journey and identifying as a Twin Flame DOES NOT mean you're in a CULT. The Twin Flame Journey is unique to everyone on it. Your Twin Flame Journey is unique to you. The Twin Flame Journey is happening FOR YOU, it is not happening to you. Relationship with another (UNION) isn't the primary aim of the journey, it's an outcome. No one else can tell you who your twin is, or isn't. You are the only one with that awareness. The Twin Flame Journey is designed to break you open, so the truth and wonder of who you are can be revealed. Knowing you is the prize. Pain isn't compulsory. Yes, The Twin Flame Journey is challenging at times but you leave the pain behind as soon as you understand that you have chosen this path and that you (and only you) have all the answers you need and all the support you need within you to see it through to the end. Signs and synchronicities happen whether you are in alignment or not. Only you can interpret their meaning BUT beware the mind. Your mind wants to keep you safe and free from pain. Your mind is capable of lying to you. Feelings never lie. If you are on the right path and heading in the right direction you will FEEL GOOD. If you don't feel good then ask yourself why. Calling yourself a teacher doesn't mean you are one. Having lots of followers doesn't mean you are telling the truth or that you know what you're talking about. YOU ARE YOUR OWN GURU. You are the ONLY PERSON capable of knowing yourself and knowing what is right for you. Learn to LISTEN to yourself. Find YOUR OWN TRUTH. TRUST yourself. My Perspective You are the centre of your universe. You are creating your reality. Your reality is showing you clearly who you are and what you are in alignment with. Only you can change your reality. The only way to change is to go within and change how you think and how you are programmed. EVERYONE is a mirror. EVERYTHING you experience is a mirror. You only have control over yourself. You can't change anyone else. You can't help anyone else. The only way anything will change is if you do it yourself. You have everything you need within you. You are your own best expert. However, embodying this truth is complex and it's a process. It begins with knowing who you are , and why you are who you are. It includes accepting who you are in the here and now and accepting your current reality. We cannot change reality until we understand and accept what is. It is, as it is. You are, as you are. This process is multifaceted and it takes time but if you are working your way through the process it will FEEL GOOD and you will see your reality CHANGE . If you feel bad. If you are stuck in the same patterns. Stop. Let go of everything you think you know and ask yourself why. Quiet your mind and listen to your feelings. Your feelings will tell you the truth about the situation you are in and if it's right for you. Trust yourself to know what's right for you and be brave enough to do what's right for you. Beware the false guru A personal note: I have never been a member of Twin Flames Universe so I don't have any personal experience of this group. I have watched the Amazon Prime documentary and the Netflix documentary and I have some serious concerns but I am not one to judge, we all have to make up our own minds in this regard and I am aware of how the media distorts and tells the story it wants to. If you are involved in the group then I recommend watching both series' so you can draw your own conclusions based on your own awareness. I have been a member of other twin flame groups during my journey and believe that it's important for us as humans to belong to communities that support and understand us. We all need to learn from each other. We also all need to practice discernment. Having said all that, in my experienced opinion, this is fundamentally a solo journey . We must learn to listen to our self , trust our self and step into our own power. We must become our own guru. In the Sermon on the Mount ( Matthew 7:15–20 ), Jesus warns his followers of false prophets: "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thorns, or figs from thistles? So, every sound tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears evil fruit. A sound tree cannot bear evil fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus you will know them by their fruits." "Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely." A true spiritual teacher will empower you to know that you have all the answers you need within you. A true spiritual teacher will encourage you to remember that you are the master of your creation. You are the universe (or God if you prefer) experiencing itself. A true spiritual teacher will empower you to know yourself. A true spiritual teacher will know that you are the solution to your problems. You are the only person that can truly help you. A true spiritual teacher is here to serve. They want the best for you. It's all on you. 🐉 If you wish to read more about twin flames and what I think about them please see my blog post twin flames: my perspective . - Being unworthy: a twin flame characteristic.
We have a desire. We want this man*. Hell, we’re ‘told’ this man is ours and that despite outward appearances he wants us too! But we can’t get what we want. It doesn’t matter what we do. Our deepest desire is brutally denied. We’re told to let it go. By him, and by everyone we’ve told about our journey. We go searching for answers and support and are told, again and again, to let him go. Focus on ourselves. Put our trust outside of us in a universe/source/God we may or may not believe in and have learned (been programmed) not to trust. And, even if we manage to do all that, still we do not have what we desire. This man is absent from our lives and (if we’re brutally honest with ourselves) most of the time that feels like crap. So what DO we do? Yes, we can’t go about it in the way we thought. We can’t throw ourselves at him. We can’t manipulate him. We can’t persuade him to be with us because we know it’s his destiny. We can’t even wear down his barriers through our sparkling company and devoted adoration. What we can do is to learn that we never needed to try hard. We are immensely powerful. We can have anything we want. Whatever we want. Including a wonderful committed relationship with this man. We don’t have to let him go. It’s all available to us. So what’s stopping us? We are. Our own disbelief. The deep feelings that we’re not good enough, pretty enough, thin enough, clever enough, young enough, rich enough, aware enough, gifted enough. If he isn’t with us, if he’s not available, then a part of us knows we’re not worthy of his love. Ultimately, since this is the one man who is supposed to really love us, we know we’re not actually loveable. We’re NOT WORTHY. (Now that’s not true of course. We are worthy. Every one of us deserves to be loved. Every one of us is loveable. Exactly as we are. ) The twin flame experience is multifaceted. All of it has design and purpose. All of it will change us for the better if we allow it. He triggers our wounds so we heal. He leaves us to do it alone and we learn we can. He stops loving us so we are forced to learn to love ourselves. And all the time we are healing our power is growing. If we embrace the experience and what it is trying to teach us we will eventually remember we are worthy AND we will be in our power. We will be able to have whatever we want. And that is also designed and purposeful. The union and partnership of two healed and powerful beings working towards a common goal means it manifests much faster. Imagine what we’ll be able to achieve when we’ve learned how to do this, when we’ve become all that we are and know we are worthy. We can change the world. *I’ve used ‘him’ since it applies to me and my situation but swap out for ‘she/they’ as required. THIS IS MY EXPERIENCE. It will resonate with some and for others may not. We are worthy of love and belonging. Looking for support? Learn more about how I can serve you Work with me
- Repeating Numbers
I believe The Universe speaks to us constantly through what we encounter, what we see and what we think moment to moment. When I see repeating numbers I assume there's a message for me in them and will embark on a quest to find out what that message is. This act of noticing, and then connecting with the inner wisdom, is a skill that can be learned and like everything that's valuable in the journey of self transformation, it takes practice . Look for the magic! Some cautionary words: The more we focus our attention on repeating numbers, the more we'll attract them into our reality. Beware the mind: our mind (or ego) wants to keep us happy and comfortable, it's less interested in truth. It is easy to get obsessed with repeating numbers and their meanings and find the meaning that we most 'want' to be true in the moment. Objectivity is not always easy. If your reality does not match what you are being 'told' by the numbers you are seeing, ask yourself if you are being honest about what the numbers could mean, or are just feeding a delusion. If seeking meanings is causing you frustration or pain, let go, give yourself a break and stop seeking answers. Trust that the answers you need will come to you in the right time and everything is always perfect. You are exactly where you're meant to be. Repeating Numbers 11:11 So, The Universe has got your attention. This is important: Everyone is unique. Everyone’s journey is unique. And what those numbers mean to you will be unique for you . When I first began noticing repeating numbers and wanted to understand what they meant for me I came across an amazing resource, created by an incredibly gifted awakened wonder: Joanne Walmsley . I have copied this directly from her site and recommend that you visit it in order to learn and understand more about what the inherent vibrations of numbers are and what they could mean to you (and for you ). ANGEL NUMBERS - What are They? The phenomena of 'Number Sequences', sometimes known as ' Angel Numbers ' is becoming more and more prevalent day by day. Thousands upon thousands of people from all walks of life, from all parts of the world, and from every creed and religion, are reporting the phenomena of noticing particular number sequences on clocks, timers, car number plates, billboards, and from all kinds of sources. According to respected authors, therapists and spiritualists around the world, this phenomenon is occurring as a new Spiritual Awareness is taking place and gaining momentum on our planet. As a race, people are evolving on a Spiritual level, with the number sequences being 'messages' from a Higher Source. Your angels (and/or spirit guides ) guide you through your thoughts, feelings, words and visions. They also show you ‘ signs ’ - that is, things that you see repeatedly with your physical eyes. One of the signs is repetitive number sequences. Angels and those of the spiritual realm do their best to get our attention and to communicate with us. In this way, they help us heal our own lives. However, we often discount the signs that they give us, writing them off as mere coincidences or our imagination." Your angels often communicate messages to you by showing you sequences of numbers. They do this in two ways. First, they subtly whisper in your ear so that you will look up in time to notice the time displayed on the clock, or the phone number on an advertisement or something similar. The angels hope that you will be aware and acknowledge that you are seeing this same sequence of numbers, over and over. The second way in which the angels show you meaningful number sequences' is by physically arranging for something like a car driving in front of you that has specific number plates, and hope that you realize that you are seeing the number sequence again. They want you to notice, then look into the messages further. When you notice a particular number sequence recurring for you, ask the angels what they are trying to tell you, and you will find that your angels will give you additional information. Monitor your thoughts carefully, and be sure to only think about what you want, not what you don't want. The great Pythagoras said that everything in the Universe is mathematically precise, and that each number has its own vibration and meaning. The placement of the numbers in a sequence holds special meaning. Numerology is a sacred science that has maintained its relevance from ancient to modern times. Numbers point out the importance of seeing ‘messages’ three- dimensionally, in order to show us the lessons, growth opportunities and guidance contained with each experience. As you recognize and interpret the numbers around you, you may feel more connected to the angels . This connection allows the angels to open the door to an incredible connection that brings peace, hope and love. Number sequence interpretation is an easy way to receive messages from your angels . Numerals are everywhere, from digital clocks to license plates. Each number has a vibrational frequently relating directly to its meaning. The angels always seek to give us guidance and answers. When they call our attention to number sequences, it is a positive sign of their devotion, love and power. When you notice a number sequence, listen to your angel’s guidance that comes through your feelings, visions and thoughts. The more you notice these signs, the more frequently they will appear in your life. Once you understand the ‘signs’ meanings and accept that they are not mere ‘coincidences’, but important and purposeful events and messages, you will experience a close and clear communication with your angels . You will discover spiritual signs and messages all around you, all the time. You may also notice number sequences that signify things of personal significance, such as birth dates, anniversaries, telephone numbers etc. In these cases the angels are giving you an even deeper, pertinent and personal message. The recurrence of number sequences is a subtle and constant reminder that something magical … something Divine is happening. When you see the number sequences (‘ Angel Numbers ’), acknowledge that the angels are telling you that you are on your true path, and say ‘Thank You’ to them for communicating with you. The Angel Numbers are messages for us - best we heed them. The main thing about seeing and acknowledging the repeating number sequences or Angel Numbers is the fact that you are consciously seeing them. At this time, your angels are communicating directly with YOU. The messages are for YOU and they are about YOU and YOUR life ... It is up to YOU to take the time to go within, listen to your intuition and true self, and figure out what the message/s are telling YOU and what they mean to YOU. Only you know what lies within you ... Your highest guidance is unique for you and you have all of your own answers within you. - The answer to every question
Have you ever found yourself searching for answers - turning to experts, friends, or even random internet searches - only to feel that nothing quite fits? You’ll find plenty of well-considered, knowledgeable opinions, each valuable in its own way. Even the sceptics and cynics have something to offer. But here’s the truth: no one else holds the answer you truly need. There are no experts in your journey. The answer that’s perfect for someone else might not be perfect for you. Your path is yours alone, and the truth you seek is already within you. As Luke Skywalker tells Rey before she sets off to save the galaxy: “You have everything you need.” This is the key to unlocking your journey. No one else can make you happy. No one else can heal you. No one else can wave a magic wand and bring your beloved back to you. No one else can answer the questions you are asking. No one else knows you better than you do, and no one else can make absolute sense of something that is meant for you. But don’t take anyone else’s word for it. Don't take my word for it. Don’t try to recreate someone else’s experience. Try it for yourself. Want to know what the number 22 or 1111 means? Want to know whether you should reach out to the object of your affection? Want to understand why you keep experiencing the same story over and over? Want to know why you’re feeling angry, sad, frustrated - or joyful? Want to know why your knees are hurting? Ask the question, and you’ll get the answer you need. It will come in the way that’s best for you - and in that process, you’ll start to trust yourself. You’ll begin to know that whatever you need to understand is already within you. That you have everything you need . Practical Steps to Start Trusting Yourself Ask Clearly and Intentionally – Write down your question or say it out loud. Be specific about what you want to understand. Observe Without Expectation – Pay attention to your thoughts, emotions, and surroundings. Clues might come in the form of a sudden insight, a conversation, a song, or even something as simple as a repeated word or image. Journal Your Experiences – Keep track of the answers you receive. Writing things down helps you notice patterns and strengthen your inner knowing. Practice Stillness – Whether through meditation, deep breathing, or just a few quiet moments in nature, create space to listen to yourself without distractions. Use Your Body’s Wisdom – Notice how different answers make you feel. Does a choice bring relief or tension? Your body often knows before your mind does. Trust Small Decisions First – Build confidence by listening to yourself in everyday choices, what to eat, which route to take, whether to say yes or no to something small. Release the Need for Immediate Answers – Sometimes, clarity comes later. Let go of urgency and trust that the right answer will reveal itself in time. How Do Answers Arrive? Clarity comes in many forms. Sometimes, a thought pops into your head fully formed. Other times, clues appear in the environment - something a child says, an object that falls at just the right moment, a pattern in daily life. Piece them together, and suddenly, the picture is clear. Sometimes, the answer is in a book you pick up or a film you watch. Sometimes, it’s a search result that stands out in just the right way. There’s no single method. There’s only your way. So, if you have a question, seek your own wisdom first . But if you’d like an outside perspective, feel free to ask . The most valuable answers, though, will always come from within, because you already have everything you need . I share this because it’s what I’ve learned on my own journey, the hard way, through trial and error, through moments of doubt and deep clarity. And if you find yourself feeling stuck, if you want support in tapping into your own inner wisdom, or if you simply want to unlock more joy in the process, I’m here. Sometimes, we just need a little reflection to see what’s already within us. If that’s what you’re looking for, I’d love to help. - Are they really my twin? Confusion on the twin flame journey.
Regardless of the inner knowing and the intensity of feeling, sooner or later the doubt kicks in and we begin to question. Questioning whether this person is actually our twin is a normal part of 'the journey' and an essential piece of the process. Question: Are they my twin? Answer: Only you can answer that question. Question: Can I confirm they are my twin? Answer: No. There is no one outside of you, no tool you can use, no test you can take, that can definitively answer this question for you. Your astrology chart won't tell you, their astrology chart won't tell you. You could go to a number of different psychics and if you are unsure within then they will reflect that uncertainty and give you a variety of different answers. A comparison of photos won't reveal the truth. There is no way on earth to give you absolute, rational evidence beyond doubt, to confirm they are your twin. You can’t even know whether there is such a thing as a twin flame or twin soul. Just like we don’t know what happens when we die, and whether we were before we were born. No one knows anything for certain and if they tell you otherwise then they are suffering from a delusion. Life is a mystery What I wish someone had said to me * when I was caught up in doubt and desperate to know if he is my twin. Is he my twin? It doesn’t matter. It’s the wrong question to ask. What matters is that this individual has entered your life and turned it upside down. This individual is a critical catalyst in your life journey and as such their presence and importance cannot be denied . You have been led to the twin flame journey for a reason . And if you resonate with the twin flame journey then you are on it . So, for now anyway, until you have more information, this individual is your twin . *in retrospect, my 'twin' did say this to me, though not in words. What is more helpful to you when you find yourself asking this question is to ask yourself why you need to know. The right question to ask: Why do I need to know? We all crave security in a fragile world. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we knew there was a person out there that is ours? A person that is as much us as we are and loves us unconditionally? A person who was chosen, by God no less, to be our partner? And to know that any feelings of heartbreak and pain associated with this person will end in (divine) time when they come to their senses and realise you were destined to be together all along? Learning to exist in the place of unknowing : To find peace despite the fact that we don’t know what’s going to happen, to love with our whole heart even if it might all disappear tomorrow, to have faith in ourselves and what we feel despite any evidence to support it, is a large part of what this journey is all about and in fact what any spiritual journey is all about. We have to find faith. Faith in ourselves first and foremost and faith in the universe at large. We have to trust that we are safe to let go (and let God) and that doing so won’t result in unendurable pain and suffering. Trust that they have entered your life for a purpose. Trust that your connection is meaningful and important. Trust that you have chosen this together on some level and that you are meant to transform through this connection. Trust that you have everything you need within you to walk this journey to a happy conclusion and that the things which are unclear and confusing now, will make sense in the future. Trust that the journey, whilst challenging at times, is not meant to be painful and difficult. Trust that if it feels painful and difficult you can call on the Universe (God, your higher self, your spiritual team, your guides…) for help and support and you will always receive it. Trust that if you need help with anything all you need to do is ask and you will receive it. Trust that all the challenges you face have been chosen by you on some level to grow, expand and transform into who you are meant to be. You are the key to this journey. This journey is all about you. It’s for you. Give yourself all your focus and you won’t go wrong. How to give yourself your focus? Where do you start? The ‘WORK’ As within, so without Know thyself: What do you feel? Where have you been? What are your stories? Where do they repeat? What does your present feel like? What does your present look like? Be where you are. Can you accept what is? What do you want? What do you think? What do you believe? Does that align with what you want? Intention is everything. We are all fragmented. We all have multiple parts. We all have multiple personalities. We must find all our parts so we can unite them. Intention is everything. Inner union is the goal. When we are aligned within, we can create what we want without. We can steer our own ship. Our world will show us who we are if we are willing to look. We are a projector; our inner self is creating the world around us. Everyone shows us something of ourselves. The Twin is our clearest mirror. Through the twin we can learn how to see ourselves. As we see ourselves clearly, the world will not have to reflect back at us. We can choose our own path. And interact with others in a pure sense. As ourselves. So they can be themselves. Higher truths to embody: We are all an aspect of the universe experiencing itself. We are all unique and at the same time, all the same. We are all, all the ‘good’ and all the ‘bad’. We have all been ‘good’ and we have all been ‘bad’. In a higher sense there is no ‘good’ and there is no ‘bad’. Good needs the bad, and bad needs the good. Without the other, neither can exist. - Talking with the Moon
"The Moon, Queen of the Night in all her silvery splendour, reaches out to us as she glides across the black, moonlit skies." Demetra George, 'Mysteries of the Dark Moon' The Moon weaves Her way through the entire zodiac every twenty-nine days and in doing so meets with all the other Gods in the palaces they currently reside. The Moon, being our closest celestial body, can be viewed as the translator, the intermediary between us on the Earth and the Gods far above. She engages with the divine energy in order to reflect it down to us as experience and feeling here on Earth, She makes it personal. Tracking the significant meetings the Moon makes can give us an idea what could be arising in our lives in our day to day as She journeys around the Earth. Why is looking at the Moon's encounters helpful? By understanding what's occurring on a grander sense, it can bring distance between what we experience and how we interpret it. It gives us a broader perspective of the experience and helps us to clarify why it's happening for us and how we can use it effectively in our lives to learn and grow. We can appreciate that the events in our lives are happening for us rather than to us and viewed from that perspective all experiences, both the more difficult and the joyous, can be seen in a more positive light. All meetings given are at UK times (currently GMT+1) please adjust for your own time zone A cycle of the Moon Beginning 'This is the moment of embarking. All auspicious signs are in place.' September 7th: Virgo Moon Conjoins the Sun ( NEW MOON ) and Trines Uranus whilst Mars Trines Pluto and Mercury Trines Jupiter With the New Moon perfecting in an exact trine to Uranus this new beginning is particularly auspicious. Uranus is the God of change and liberation, He represents the driving force within us to be different and bring about radical change. Since this supportive and expansive conversation takes place from Virgo, Mercury's sign of order and efficiency, ( "Virgo extracts what is good and makes something useful out of it." Astrology by Carole Taylor ), we are supported with the energy of focus and attention to detail and the desire to be productive and serve a greater good. Uranus is in Venus' palace of Taurus which signifies the need for deep seated change in our physical world. Although Uranus can talk of sudden change, change has to begin within us and it takes conscious effort . From 365 TAO Daily Meditations by Deng Ming-Dao What in your life isn't working right now and where would you like to see change? What steps could you take to make those desires a reality? The Moon's cycle begins with the New Moon and that energy sets the stage for the rest of the month. The intentions we make and area of life we choose to give our focus to can then be supported or tested by the meetings the Moon has with the other Gods as She progresses through her cycle. Just prior to the New Moon, Venus was speaking loudly to Mars and Pluto from her palace of Libra, suggesting that Venus is the God of the moment and Her desires are likely to flavour this Moon cycle. 'The Venus archetype manifests through our yearnings to love and be loved, to enjoy ourselves and bring pleasure to others, and to reach out in energy and connection.' [The Archetypal Universe by Renn Butler] With Venus in a Trine with Jupiter at the time of the New Moon we have a delightful expansion of Her energy to work with throughout the cycle. If we combine that with the Sun moving into Libra later in September and with Mercury turning retrograde in Libra, this Moon cycle speaks to me as an opportunity to better understand what we want from our relationships and to revisit and revise them in such a way that our horizons are broadened and our world shines a little brighter. With some explosive conversations between the Gods happening towards the end of the cycle there could be a shake up and review of our significant relationships. The Moon asks us this month to choose love and to allow it to flourish in our lives to bring us joy. September 7th: Waxing Virgo Moon Conjoins Mars and Trines Pluto September 8th: Waxing Libra Moon Trines Saturn September 9th: Waxing Libra Moon Conjoins Mercury then later in the day Squares Pluto and simultaneously Trines Jupiter September 10th: Waxing Libra Moon Conjoins Venus at the Anaretic Degree then later in the day, in Scorpio, Squares Saturn The Anaretic degree can be a trigger point and signify a difficult experience which, while tricky at the time, later we understand had purpose and taught us something of value. With the Moon joining Venus in Her palace's Anaretic degree and then moving into a Square with Saturn it seems possible that relationships will be tested, possibly around Saturnian themes such as setting good boundaries or feelings of restriction around letting go in love. September 11th: Waxing Scorpio Moon Opposes Uranus as Venus moves from her happy place in Libra into Scorpio where she's in detriment. Later that day the Moon Sextiles the Sun and Trines Neptune before She Sextiles Pluto and Squares Jupiter September 12th: Waxing Scorpio Moon Sextiles Mars before moving into Sagittarius September 13th: Waxing Sagittarius Moon Squares the Sun and Neptune as they Oppose one another September 14th: Waxing Sagittarius Moon Sextiles Jupiter whilst the Sun and Neptune are still in their Opposition then later in the day, as the Opposition goes exact, She Squares Mars in the Anaretic Degree September 15th: Waxing Capricorn Moon Trines Uranus as the Sun moves into a Trine with Pluto September 16th: Waxing Capricorn Moon Conjoins Pluto and Trines the Sun and then later in the day the Moon moves into Aquarius and Trines the recently debilitated Mars after his move into Libra as Venus picks up a Square to Saturn September 17th: Waxing Aquarius Moon Conjoins Saturn in His Sextile to Venus as the Trine between the Sun and Pluto goes exact, then later Squares Uranus whilst all these conversations are still active September 18th: Waxing Aquarius Moon picks up a Trine to Mercury shortly before She Conjoins Jupiter September 19th: Waxing Pisces Moon Trines Venus as Mercury moves into a Trine with Jupiter then later forms a Sextile with Uranus September 20th: Waxing Pisces Moon Conjoins Neptune whilst Mercury continues to Trine Jupiter then She picks up a Sextile to Pluto as Mercury also starts to Square Pluto September 21st: Pisces Moon Opposes the Sun ( FULL MOON ) whilst Mercury Trines Jupiter and Squares Pluto and then later that day She moves into Aries and Opposes Mars and then Sextiles Saturn September 23rd: Waning Aries Moon picks up a Sextile to Jupiter just as She starts to oppose Mercury and Square Pluto as Mercury's Square to Pluto gets tighter whilst at the same time Venus takes up Her opposition to Uranus and the Sun moves into Libra This aspect pattern is known in modern astrology as a Cardinal T-Square (or T-Cross) and signifies driven, dynamic force. In this case Pluto is at the Apex (the focal planet) meaning that much of the dynamic movement takes place here. [Astrology by Carole Taylor] September 24th: Waning Taurus Moon Squares Saturn before joining Uranus in His opposition to Venus while Mercury continues to Square Pluto and Mars Trines Saturn September 25th: Waning Taurus Moon forms a Sextile with Neptune before moving into the Square with Jupiter then a Trine with Pluto September 26th: Waning Gemini Moon Trines Mars and then Saturn as Mars Trines Saturn This aspect pattern is called The Grand Trine and suggests an easy flow of energy between the Gods. A Grand Trine in Air signs signifies ease in communication and social interaction. [Astrology by Carole Taylor] September 27th: Waning Gemini Moon Squares Neptune and Trines Jupiter September 28th: Waning Gemini Moon Trines Jupiter and Mercury just as He stations to turn retrograde whilst simultaneously Conjoined Sun and Mars Trine Saturn September 29th: A busy Waning Cancer Moon Squares the Sun as the Sun Trines Saturn at the same time that Neptune Trines Venus and retrograde Mercury reforms the Square with Pluto then a few hours later She Squares Mars and Trines Saturn before forming a Sextile with Uranus September 30th: Waning Cancer Moon Trines Neptune and Venus while Venus Trines Neptune and Squares Jupiter whilst in the same moment the Sun Trines Saturn and a slow retrograde Mercury continues to Square Pluto A Grand Trine in Water suggests a deep reservoir of sensitivity and feeling, a skill at picking up emotional undercurrents and ability to tune in on a deeper psychic level [Astrology by Carole Taylor] A day of magnitude since later on the 30th She forms a T-Square with Pluto and Mercury In this T-Square Mercury is at the Apex (God in focus) indicating dynamic, emotionally driven (Moon) communication (Mercury) brought up from the depths (Pluto) October 1st: Waning Leo Moon Opposes Saturn whilst Pluto Squares Mars and Venus Squares Jupiter and Sextiles Pluto then later forms a Sextile to the Sun, their last aspect before She enters her Dark Moon phase October 2nd: Waning Leo Moon Squares Uranus whilst Mercury continues to Square Pluto and Venus Sextiles Pluto before Opposing Jupiter as Mercury also picks up a Trine to Jupiter in His backward motion, a conversation the Moon joins in with as She Sextiles Mercury and Squares Venus October 3rd: The Moon, now deep into her Dark Moon phase, enters Virgo, the palace where her cycle began October 4th: After a peaceful few hours the Waning Virgo Moon Trines Uranus before Opposing Neptune whilst the Sun moves into a Conjunction with Mars and Mercury moves into a Trine with Jupiter October 5th: Waning Virgo Moon Trines Pluto as Mercury Trines Jupiter then finishes off the cycle of conversations by forming a Sextile with Venus and bringing conclusion to the journeys we've taken with Her throughout the period 'When you come to the end of a cycle, a new one will begin.' 365 Days of Tao From 365 TAO Daily Meditations by Deng Ming-Dao The New Moon and a new cycle of conversations begins on the 6th of October with a Stellium of four planets in Libra including the Moon, the Sun and Mars all exactly Conjunct. - Neptune: God of Transcendence
Neptune: The God Who Dissolves Us Into Wholeness There is a God who doesn’t speak through logic or reason, but through longing. Through beauty that undoes you. Through dreams that feel more real than daylight. He doesn’t arrive with clarity or instruction. He appears in the blur, the fog, the shimmer at the edges of your vision. He is Neptune: God of Transcendence . And when He moves through your life, you feel it not as a push, but as a pull. “You are not a drop in the ocean. You are the entire ocean in a drop.” — Rumi Neptune is not of this world, though He reaches into it constantly. He is the force that reminds us we are more than our lists, our labels, our logic. We came from something infinite, and the ache we carry is the memory of that truth. He draws us to the unseen and the unfixed: to music that softens us, art that stirs something ancient, love that moves through us like a tide. He lives in dreams. In poetry. In moments where time dissolves and all that’s left is feeling. He teaches through surrender. Through letting go. Through opening; not to certainty, but to wonder. “The moment you know yourself, you have known the most precious thing in existence.” — Osho Neptune asks us to loosen our grip. To stop striving and soften into being. He doesn’t build or destroy. Neptune melts. He blends. He returns us to the sea from which we came. This is the energy of the womb, the ocean, the mystic, the artist, the dreamer, the lover of all. He moves us through compassion, through vision, through longing for something more. But He also tempts. He can blur reality so much that we lose our footing. He can seduce us with illusions and false promises of safety. He can confuse us, wrap us in fantasy, and leave us grasping at shadows. There’s a risk of escaping life instead of embracing it. “To lose yourself is the path to find the real you.” — Eckhart Tolle 🌊 How to Feel Neptune You might feel Him when: You cry during a piece of music and don’t know why You want to disappear into a bath, a novel, a dream You sense the suffering of someone else as if it were your own You’re longing for something you can’t name You feel like you’ve lost yourself in someone—or in love itself You remember, for one moment, that you are Love Neptune invites us to dissolve—not to vanish, but to return. To re-enter the mystery. To find our soul again. “When I let go of what I am, I become what I might be.” — Lao Tzu ✨ Neptune in Your Birth Chart Neptune is slow-moving, staying in one sign for about 14 years, shaping the dreams and illusions of whole generations. But where He lives in your birth chart by house , and how He connects with your personal planets, is where His voice speaks most directly to you . ✨ Neptune in the Houses Neptune’s placement in your birth chart shows where your soul longs to dissolve the boundaries. Where you yearn for something higher, deeper, more beautiful. But it’s also where life might feel confusing, dreamy, or hard to pin down. Where you're being called to trust what you can’t yet see. Each house Neptune touches becomes a space of both invitation and illusion . A place where you might drift off course before finding a more soulful way through. Neptune in the 1st House You might be a walking dream to others - mystical, sensitive, hard to define. Your sense of self can feel fluid, like you’re always becoming someone new. Others may project onto you. You’re learning to see yourself clearly without losing your softness. Your presence alone can be healing. Theme: Who am I really? Gift: Compassionate presence Challenge: Identity confusion, taking on others’ feelings Neptune in the 2nd House Money, value, and self-worth may feel slippery. You might idealise wealth or avoid material concerns altogether. Your values are deeply spiritual - you're here to find meaning beyond possessions. But be mindful of vague boundaries in financial matters. Theme: What is truly valuable? Gift: Spiritual abundance, soulful simplicity Challenge: Financial fog, low self-esteem Neptune in the 3rd House Communication is intuitive, poetic, symbolic. You feel your way through words. You may have struggled to speak up, or to trust your voice. But you’re here to share something sacred - through stories, softness, or spiritual insight. Theme: How do I express myself? Gift: Inspired communication, sacred noticing Challenge: Mental fog, miscommunication, doubt in your voice Neptune in the 4th House Your roots may feel mysterious, nostalgic, or painful to define. You may dream of the perfect home or family but find reality falls short. This placement asks you to build inner sanctuary and to find a spiritual sense of belonging within. Theme: Where do I belong? Gift: Creating soul-nourishing spaces Challenge: Emotional confusion, idealising the past or family Neptune in the 5th House You express yourself like a dream - romantically, artistically, soulfully. But you may lose yourself in love or long for a soulmate who never quite arrives. You're here to create from the heart, to love like poetry, and to find joy that flows from the divine. Theme: How do I love and create? Gift: Inspired creativity, divine romance Challenge: Disillusionment in love, confusion with children or artistic direction Neptune in the 6th House You may feel deeply sensitive to work, health, and routines. Your body absorbs emotion, and healing might need to include the soul. You long for meaningful service, but must be careful not to self-sacrifice or dissolve into overwork. Theme: How do I serve and care for my body? Gift: Healing through devotion, work as a spiritual path Challenge: Vague health issues, martyrdom, burnout Neptune in the 7th House Relationships are often romanticised. You may attract or become the “saviour” or “dream lover” - only to find the fantasy fades. You’re learning to love without losing yourself. To build soul union, not escape through another. Theme: How do I relate to others? Gift: Sacred partnership, compassion in love Challenge: Co-dependence, projection, disillusionment Neptune in the 8th House You feel the invisible threads that bind people. You may be drawn to spiritual intimacy, psychic insight, or deep transformation. But emotional entanglement, power dynamics, or inherited pain can cloud things. You’re here to surrender and regenerate. Theme: What lies beneath the surface? Gift: Spiritual depth, emotional alchemy Challenge: Addictions, blurred sexual or financial boundaries Neptune in the 9th House You’re a seeker of truth, but not through logic. You’re drawn to mysticism, spiritual teachings, or faraway philosophies. You long to merge with the divine through study, travel, or belief, but you may need to discern between real insight and false prophets. Theme: What do I believe in? Gift: Spiritual vision, devotion to the mystery Challenge: Escapism through belief, disillusionment with religion or meaning Neptune in the 10th House Your public life may be shrouded in mystery or confusion. You might dream of a soulful vocation but struggle to define it. You may be seen as an ideal or projection by others. You're learning to offer your gifts in service to something higher. Theme: What is my calling? Gift: A spiritual approach to career and legacy Challenge: Lack of clarity in career, unrealistic ambitions, burnout from being “everything to everyone” Neptune in the 11th House You long to belong, to find your soul tribe, to be part of a greater vision. You’re a dreamer of better worlds, but your ideals can sometimes cloud reality. You're here to offer compassion to the collective, but you must also hold your own shape. Theme: Where do I belong in the world? Gift: Visionary connection, compassion for humanity Challenge: Disappointment in friendships, blurred group boundaries Neptune in the 12th House You were born close to the veil. Your inner world is vast, rich, and mysterious. There may be unconscious fears, ancestral wounds, or deep empathy that floods your system. But you’re also deeply connected to spirit and can access wisdom beyond words. Theme: What am I here to release and remember? Gift: Mystical insight, deep compassion Challenge: Escapism, emotional overwhelm, difficulty staying grounded Wherever Neptune sits in your chart, He calls for compassion and imagination, but also discernment. Neptune by Sign (for everyone born from the 1940s to now) Neptune in Libra (1942–1956) A generation longing for peace, beauty, harmony, and idealised relationships. Often deeply romantic and spiritually drawn to balance. Neptune in Scorpio (1956–1970) Mysticism meets intensity. A deep pull towards the hidden and taboo. Longing for soulful transformation. Risk of spiritualised obsession or emotional escape. Neptune in Sagittarius (1970–1984) Seekers of truth. Dreamers of freedom. Big vision. Spirituality meets adventure. But beware of illusion in beliefs or guru-worship. Neptune in Capricorn (1984–1998) This generation dreams of structure, responsibility, spiritual integrity. They may struggle between material ambition and inner yearning. Neptune in Aquarius (1998–2012) Visionary souls. Drawn to collective healing, humanitarian ideals, and spiritual innovation. But may blur boundaries in communities or tech. Neptune in Pisces (2012–2026) These are the mystics, artists, sensitives, and empaths. Born into the dream. Carrying the frequency of oneness. But they’ll need grounding to stay anchored in a rapidly dissolving world. 💫 What Neptune Speaks Of, For All of Us He speaks of oneness: you were never separate He teaches compassion: for yourself, for others, for the human condition He reminds you of the power of imagination , vision , and faith He invites you to surrender. Not to weakness, but to something greater He dissolves what no longer serves, and shows you what love really is But Neptune will never force you. He waits. Softly. Lovingly. Just outside the edge of what you think you know. The question isn’t whether He’s present in your life. It’s whether you’ll allow yourself to feel Him. “I have seen the truth. It is not as though I had invented it with my mind. I have seen it, seen it with my eyes.” — Fyodor Dostoevsky 🕯️ Would you like to meet Neptune more deeply? Look to your dreams. Let yourself cry. Notice beauty. Create. Meditate. Listen to music that opens your heart. Trust the silence. Get lost on purpose. And then, come home to yourself. - The Book That Reappeared As If By Magic
My Very Own Sister By Astrid Lindgren Shall I tell you a secret? I've got a twin sister. Don't tell anyone. Not even my mother and father know about her. She lives deep under the ground near the big rose bush at the bottom of the garden. Would you like to know my sisters name? It's not Jane or Betty or anything ordinary like that. It's Lalla-lee. If you say it over and over again, you'll hear how beautiful it is: Lalla-lee, Lalla-lee, Lalla-lee. My name's just Barbara, but Lalla-lee never uses it. She calls me “my very own sister”. Lalla-lee loves me very much. My father loves Mummy best, and Mummy loves my baby brother who was born last spring best. But Lalla-lee only loves me. Yesterday was a warm day. First thing in the morning I went and sat behind the rose bush as I usually do. It's in a corner of the garden where no one ever comes. Lala-lee and I have a special language that no one else understands. The rose bush is called something quite different in our language. It's called Salikon. As I sat down by Salikon I heard Lalla-lee calling me: “Kim hure!” That's what ‘come here’ is in our language. So, I crawled down through the hole - there's a hole in the ground just under Salikon. I crept inside, then I climbed down the long, long ladder, and went through the dark passage right up to the door that leads to the Golden Hall where, Lalla-lee is queen. I knocked at the door. “Is that My Very Own Sister?”, I heard Lalla-lee call from inside the door. “Yes”, I said. “Nicko, open the door for My Very Own Sister,” said Lalla-lee. The door opened, and Nicko, the little dwarf that cooks Lalla-lee’s food, bowed and grinned at me just like he always does. Lalla-lee and I hugged each other. The Ruff and Duff rushed up and started to bark and leap round us. Ruff and Duff are our little black poodles. Ruff is mine, and Duff is Lalla-lee’s. Ruff is always very pleased to see me – he licks my hands and wags his tail. Before I had Ruff I used to worry my mother and father for a dog of my very own. But they said dogs were a nuisance and an expense, and that it wasn’t a good thing to have one near a baby. That’s why I was so pleased with Ruff. We played with our dogs for a long time, Lalla-lee and I. Then we went and fed our rabbits. We’ve got lots of little white rabbits. You can’t imagine how lovely The Golden Hall is, with shining gold walls. In the middle there is a fountain with green water. Lalla-lee and I bathed there. Then we decided to go for a ride. Lalla-lee’s horse has a golden mane and golden hooves. My horse is black with a silver mane and silver hooves. Our horses are called Goldenfoot and Silverfoot. We rode through the Terrible Big Forest where the Wicked People live. They have green eyes and long arms. They came rushing after us. They didn’t say anything, they didn’t shout anything – they just ran silently behind our horses and stretched their long arms out after us. The Wicked People wanted to capture us and put us in the Terrible Big Cave. But Goldenfoot and Silverfoot ran so fast that sparks flew from their hooves – golden sparks and silver sparks. The Wicked People were left far behind. We came out of the forest and into the meadow where the Good People live. The Wicked People can’t come there. They stood at the edge of the Terrible Big Forest and peered out from the trees with their horrible green eyes. We had a wonderful time with the Good People. They wear soft, flowing clothes and have pink cheeks. They brought us cakes and sweets on little green trays. There are no sweets as nice as the ones the Good People give us. In the middle of the meadow the Good People have a big stove, which they use to boil sweets and bake cakes. When we had eaten as much as we wanted we rode on to the Most Beautiful Valley in the World. Nobody’s allowed to go there except Lalla-lee and me. In the Most Beautiful Valley in the World the flowers sing and the trees play musical instruments. Through the valley runs a small, clear brook. It can’t sing or play but it hums a tune. I’ve never heard a more beautiful tune. Lalla-lee and I stood on the bridge over the brook, and she held my arm and said, “My Very Own Sister, there’s one thing you must know.” I felt a stab in my heart. “No,” I said, “I don’t want to know anything.” “You must,” said Lalla-lee. The flowers stopped singing, the trees stopped playing, and I couldn’t hear the brook’s tune any more. “My Very Own Sister,” Said Lalla-lee, “when Salikon’s roses fade I shall be gone.” I leapt on my horse and rode off, the tears running down my cheeks. I rode as fast as I could and Lall-lee followed. Lalla-lee and I rode so fast that Goldenfoot and Silverfoot were wet with sweat when we got back to the Golden Hall. Nicko had made some delicious pancakes for us. We sat on the floor in front of the fire and ate them. Ruff and Duff frisked around us, and our rabbits came hopping up to join in. But I had to go home at last. Lalla-lee came to the door with me, and we said goodbye sadly and hugged each other. “Come again soon, My Very Own Sister,” said Lalla-lee. I went out of the door and along the passage. As I climbed up the ladder I heard Lalla-lee’s voice calling after me once more, “Come again soon, My Very Own Sister.” When I reached home my mother was sitting in my little brother’s room, getting him ready for bed. She looked very white. When she saw me in the doorway she put the baby quickly into his cot and rushed towards me. She put her arms around me and cried. “Where have you been darling?” she asked at last. “Where have you been all day?” “Behind the rose bush”, I said. “We’ve been so worried. Thank heaven you’re back.” And she kissed me. “Do you know what Daddy has bought you today?” “No,” I said. “What is it?” “Go and look in your room,” she told me. I rushed to my room. There, in a basket by my bed, was a little black poodle puppy, fast asleep. He jumped up, barking. He was the prettiest dog I’d ever seen – prettier even than Ruff, my dog down there in The Golden Hall. He was more real, more alive. “He’s your very own,” said my mother. I picked him up in my arms and he tried to lick my face. “His name is Ruff,” said my mother. Wasn’t it odd that she called him that? When I went into the garden with Ruff at my heels I saw that all Salikon’s roses had faded. And there was no hole in the ground any more. That night I was so happy I could hardly sleep. Ruff lay in his basket by my bed, and sometimes he gave a little “Wuff”. He was my very own dog. 💗 Read my story about the book: A Sceptic’s Awakening: Learning to Trust the Unseen
- Venus Direct 12th April 2025
Inanna Rises, and So Do We “This is the way of things: the descent, the reckoning, the return. And none of us come back the same.” Next weekend, Venus stations direct. She’s been retrograde for 40 days, echoing the ancient myths where journeys to the underworld were not only expected, but necessary. And now, She pauses. She stands still. She begins to move forward again. But not as the Venus we knew before. She is changed. And so are we. The Descent of Inanna: The Oldest Story of Becoming Long before Venus was a planet in the sky, She was Inanna , Queen of Heaven and Earth, in the ancient Sumerian myths. When Inanna heard the call to descend into the underworld, Her sister’s realm, She prepared herself. At each of the seven gates, She was stripped of Her royal garments, Her power, Her status. Until She stood naked, defenceless, in the depths of the dark. There, She died. And then, in time, She rose again. But not unchanged. Inanna’s return wasn’t triumphant in the way we’re used to. It was not a reclaiming of status, it was a claiming of truth . She came back knowing both the light and the dark. Knowing death, loss, surrender, and the fierce compassion that comes from facing it all. Venus as Inanna: A Living Myth in the Sky Every Venus retrograde is an echo of Inanna’s journey. When Venus turns inward (retrograde), She leads us down. We revisit love, what we’ve given, what we’ve lost, what we’ve longed for. We walk through the aching gaps between what we hoped love would be and what it’s actually been. This one has been no exception. Venus retrograde in Aries and Pisces has had us questioning who we are in relationship, not just with others, but with ourselves. What we value. What we desire. What we’re worthy of. Now She turns direct. But before She walks forward again, She meets Saturn, God of endings, karma, and consequence. This is no flippant reset. This is a line in the sand. A reckoning. A promise: never again will I abandon myself for the illusion of love . This Is the Hero’s Journey We are all walking a version of this path. Not to be perfect, but to be real. To return to the world with clearer eyes and a stronger heart. Carl Jung called it individuation . The slow, brave process of becoming more and more ourselves. Stripping away what was inherited, expected, or performed. Claiming what’s true. Forging meaning from the mess. Joseph Campbell called it the Hero’s Journey . The path that begins in the ordinary world, descends into trial and darkness, and finally returns home, bearing a new gift. But the real treasure is always who we’ve become . That’s what Venus retrograde has been. A descent into the heart. A stripping away. A remembering. And now… a return. But with Saturn involved, this is a karmic checkpoint. The ending of an old pattern. A final door closing. And perhaps, a new one opening, into a love that is built on truth, not fantasy. A life that fits the you who is rising now. What Now? Venus will stand still. She’s not rushing forward. Neither should you. Let the stillness speak. Let it show you what matters now. And what doesn’t. Because you don’t come back from the underworld unchanged. And that’s the point. Reflection: What did you see during this retrograde that you can’t unsee? What have you let go of that you once thought you couldn’t live without? Who are you now? And what are you ready to claim? Venus turns direct in Pisces, conjunct Saturn. She’s hosting the Full Moon in Libra. She’s looking Mars in the eye. This isn’t just astrology. It’s initiation. The kind that changes everything. - Mars Moves (finally!)
🔥 Mars at 29° Cancer — The Final Moment of a Long, Emotional Initiation Mars has been in Cancer since last autumn. That’s a long time for the God of Action to dwell in the watery world of emotion, memory, protection, and need. Normally, He spends just two months in a sign. But this time, He lingered. He turned backwards. He re-trod old ground. And now, at the 29th degree, the anaretic degree (one that's understood to be a tad challenging if I'm honest), He is preparing to leave. But not before marking the ending. In traditional astrology, Mars is in His fall in Cancer. Why? Because Cancer is the Moon’s home, a place of softness, vulnerability, and internal tides. Mars wants to act, to cut, to move. But here, He is submerged. Blunted. Emotionalised. The sword gets rusty in salt water. Action becomes reaction. Anger turns to tears. Defence masquerades as retreat. This has not been easy energy. And we’ve all felt it, no matter where Cancer sits in your chart, because the Moon has been hosting a restless, frustrated, and often overwhelmed guest. And She’s had to make space for Him for over six months. This week, His visit ends. This is the final moment of a long emotional initiation. One that’s taken us deep into the places we’d rather protect or hide. The parts of us that lash out when we’re scared. That feel things too deeply to speak. That would rather withdraw than confront, but end up resenting in silence. We’ve all been learning how to hold our emotional fire. How to honour it. How to not abandon ourselves in the storm. What might we notice? Sudden tiredness or emotional exhaustion - like something’s finally hit you A sense that something old is coming to a head: a conversation, a boundary, a grief Emotional reactions that are bigger than the moment, because they’re about what came before Moments of deep clarity about what you can’t carry anymore How to meet this moment: Let yourself feel . Not to spiral, but to honour the truth that wants expression. Cry in the bath. Speak the unspoken. Move your body. Burn the journal page. Recognise that you’ve been walking through a long story arc, and this is the close. Mars will move on. Into Leo, where He regains fire, clarity, momentum. But before that happens, He asks you to lay something down. Something you’ve been holding. Something that’s no longer yours. Reflection: What has this long transit through Cancer shown me about how I express anger, desire, and drive? Where have I been emotionally stuck? And what do I now have the courage to release? This is a sacred goodbye. Let it be felt. Let it be holy. Let it be complete. 🌀 How Transits Affect Us Differently — A Quick Guide for Beginners The sky is always moving. And while the energy of a transit, like Mars finishing His time in Cancer, is the same for all of us, it doesn’t land in the same place in every chart. Your birth chart is like a snapshot of the sky the moment you were born. It’s your unique map. When a current planet (like Mars) activates a part of that map, it stirs something in you, an area of your life, a memory, a part of your identity. This is why the same transit can show up differently for different people. So how do we get more personal with the astrology? We look to our rising sign . This tells us which area of life Mars has been stirring up these past months. Here’s a quick guide to what this might have meant for you: 🌅 Mars in Cancer by Rising Sign: Aries Rising – Home, family, emotional roots. Have you been protecting something fiercely? Renovating the past, literally or symbolically? Taurus Rising – Communication, siblings, thought patterns. Old stories may have risen for release. Did you speak your truth, or did you hold it in? Gemini Rising – Money, resources, self-worth. What are you fighting for financially? What value are you defending or reclaiming? Cancer Rising – Your sense of self. This one’s been personal. You’ve likely been learning when to fight for yourself, and when to soften. Leo Rising – Hidden fears, dreams, healing. Much of this may have happened behind the scenes. Emotional excavation. Spiritual work. What’s ready to be brought to light? Virgo Rising – Friendships, community, future vision. Have you had to rework who belongs in your life? What dreams no longer fit? Libra Rising – Career, visibility, leadership. Emotional honesty in public life. Redefining success. Did you fight to be seen, or withdraw to protect yourself? Scorpio Rising – Beliefs, higher learning, long journeys. A soulful reckoning with meaning. What do you believe in now that you didn’t last autumn? Sagittarius Rising – Shared resources, grief, transformation. This one’s deep. What have you been letting go of that once felt like part of you? Capricorn Rising – Relationships, contracts, commitments. Mars here may have brought friction or clarity. What are you ready to renegotiate, or release? Aquarius Rising – Daily routines, work, health. Burnout and body wisdom. What habits have helped you cope, and which ones need to go? Pisces Rising – Creativity, pleasure, children, joy. Mars here tests how free you feel to express and enjoy life. Have you allowed yourself to want what you want? If you don't know your rising sign and would like to then contact me here and give me your birth details (date, time and place) and I will send you a FREE digital picture and an overview of your rising sign. Wherever Mars has been walking in your chart, this final moment is a threshold. Let yourself notice what’s ending. What’s ready to change. The Gods speak through our lived experience. This is one of those moments where, if we pause, we can hear Them clearly. What are They saying to you? A note on AI & my writing: I use ChatGPT as a writing assistant—not as a writer. - Rewrite the Script: Embracing Venus Retrograde for Love and Healing
Venus Retrograde: A Chance to Rewrite Your Love Story Venus Retrograde: Rewriting the Love Story Just over seven years ago, when Venus last moved backwards through Aries, I chose to relive and heal an almost love story that had left me disillusioned a number of years before. That inner journey set things in motion in ways I couldn’t have predicted, bringing me to this moment, to this contemplation on Venus retrograde. The possibility of a grand love that had once set my soul on fire is what ultimately pushed me to face myself in ways I never could have imagined back then. And now, on the first day of this retrograde, I saw him. Not in memory, not in dreams, but in the flesh. Just long enough for the past to flare in my body before disappearing like smoke. And in that moment, I knew. I had healed. This is what Venus Retrograde does. It takes us back. Not for punishment, not to relive old wounds for the sake of suffering, but to show us what’s ready to be rewritten. The Venus Retrograde Cycle: A 40-Day Descent Venus, the principle of desire, love, beauty, and value, is the force within us that draws us toward what we find beautiful, meaningful, and fulfilling. She is the impulse to attract and be attracted, to seek love and harmony, to create beauty in the world around us. Venus represents Eros, the force of love and connection, and Aphrodite, the goddess who embodies love in all its forms. As Richard Tarnas beautifully writes in Cosmos and Psyche , Venus is the principle of the Beautiful, She is the very pulse that makes us reach out for connection, pleasure, and affection. But when Venus turns retrograde, this principle turns inward. It’s like Venus pauses to reflect on the love we’ve experienced, the relationships we’ve had, and the ways in which we engage with beauty and affection in our lives. This is an opportunity to stop and take a deeper look at the patterns and lessons in our love stories, whether we’re in a relationship or single. It's a chance to rewrite our ongoing story and heal old wounds that have kept us from loving freely. Venus turns retrograde about every 18 months, retracing Her steps for 40 days. This isn’t random. It’s a cycle woven through time, a rhythm that repeats in eight-year patterns. This particular retrograde - March 1st to April 12th - begins in Aries, the sign of raw, unfiltered initiation, before slipping back into Pisces, the sign of surrender. If Aries is the fire starter, Pisces is the ocean that dissolves. This is a rare chance to begin again. The Stages of Venus Retrograde Phase 1: The Shadow Period (Feb 7 - Mar 1) – Venus first enters the degrees She will soon revisit. Themes begin surfacing. Old desires, old wounds, old patterns whisper for attention. Phase 2: The Descent (Mar 1 - Apr 12) – Venus begins Her retrograde. This is when things get real. Encounters with the past, ex-lovers, forgotten dreams, old wounds, may appear physically, emotionally, or through memories that won’t let go. In Aries, She asks: Where have you lost yourself in love? Where have you given too much or taken too much? The Heart of the Retrograde: March 23 – Venus disappears from the evening sky and enters the heart of The Sun. This is Her rebirth moment. The old story meets the fire. Transformation happens here, even if you can’t see it yet. Phase 3: The Return (Apr 12 - May 18) – Venus moves forward again, first in Pisces, then back into Aries. This is the integration. The rewriting. The stepping into something new - if you’ve done the work. How to Work with Venus Retrograde Here’s how you can make the most of this retrograde period to rewrite your own love story: Reflect on your past relationships: What patterns have you noticed? Have you found yourself attracting similar types of people or repeating the same dynamics? Take time to journal or meditate on these questions. Revisit old love stories: What parts of these stories no longer serve you? Sometimes, it’s not just about the people in our past, but about the way we view love itself. Are there any unhealthy beliefs or expectations you’re ready to let go of? Heal old wounds: If there are wounds from childhood or past relationships that are keeping you stuck, now is the time to face them. Whether through therapy, self-reflection, or self-compassion, this is a time to release the emotional baggage that’s been weighing you down. Be open to new ways of loving: Venus retrograde isn’t just about releasing the old, it’s also about making space for the new. Open your heart to new possibilities in love, whether that means healing your relationship with yourself, deepening your current relationship, or being open to new connections. Practice self-love: The foundation of any healthy relationship starts with self-love. Venus retrograde encourages us to reconnect with our own sense of value and beauty. Spend time nurturing yourself, doing things that make you feel good, and remembering that you are worthy of love, in all its forms. The Takeaway Venus retrograde is not a time to fear, but a time to embrace the opportunity to rewrite your love story. It invites us to reflect on the unconscious patterns we’ve carried with us and to release what no longer serves us. Whether single or in a relationship, this is your chance to heal old wounds, break free from limiting beliefs, and create a future filled with love, beauty, and harmony. Remember, Venus is the Goddess who brings us the gifts of love and connection, and she’s offering us a powerful opportunity to transform the way we love. The pen is in your hands - this is your chance to rewrite the love story that’s been waiting for you. - Deep Inner Work: Navigating Mars and Venus Retrograde
In our journey of inner healing and individuation process, external cosmic events serve as powerful mirrors reflecting our internal landscape. Yet, the transformation ultimately begins within us. While Mars and Venus retrogrades offer symbolic invitations for review, it’s up to us to dive deep into our own psyche and face what needs to be healed. We can’t rely solely on the shifting cosmic energies to change us; we must do the work. As the ancient adage goes, “as within, so without.” Mars Retrograde: Unmasking the Masculine Within When Mars turned retrograde, it wasn’t just about external setbacks or delays - it was an invitation to scrutinise the areas of our life where our inner warrior, our drive, and our assertiveness have been misaligned or suppressed. Here are some key aspects that might have emerged during this period: Revisiting Unfulfilled Ambitions: The retrograde phase may have forced us to confront the discrepancy between our dreams and the actions we’ve taken. You may have found yourself asking, “Why do I feel stuck?” or “What’s really holding me back from moving forward?” This was a call to re-examine our true desires, our goals, and whether our current path resonates with our inner truth. Confronting Internalised Anger and Frustration: Mars governs our energy and assertiveness, and when its flow is disrupted, unresolved anger, resentment, or frustration can surface. Perhaps you encountered recurring conflicts - either external or internal - that made you question long-held beliefs about power, control, and your ability to assert yourself. This was a critical moment to learn how to channel anger into constructive action. Healing the Wounds of Over-Responsibility: For many, the retrograde coincided with the pressures of daily responsibilities that weighed heavily on the spirit - be it a stifling job, burdensome relationships, or the overwhelming expectations of society. This period was a mirror reflecting the need to reclaim personal power and reassess what truly matters, even if it means letting go of roles that no longer serve your growth. Reassessing Self-Worth and Boundaries: Mars’s retrograde may have highlighted where you’ve been compromising your boundaries or not asserting your needs fully. The discomfort felt during this time was a reminder that building and maintaining healthy boundaries is essential for your self-worth and personal evolution. Venus Retrograde in Aries: The Feminine Call to Inner Reflection As Mars’ energy readied itself for forward momentum, Venus is now retrograde in Aries (Mars' own sign) - a placement that calls for a deep dive into the realm of love, self-worth, and relational dynamics. Here’s what this phase might be inviting us to explore: Re-examining Self-Love and Authenticity: Venus symbolises beauty, love, and our inner sense of worth. In retrograde, especially within the bold sign of Aries, you might find yourself questioning your definitions of love - both for yourself and others. This is a time to evaluate whether you’re truly honouring your needs or if you’ve been conforming to external expectations at the expense of your authenticity. Healing Relationship Patterns: Retrograde Venus challenges us to look at the patterns we’ve repeated in our relationships. This may involve acknowledging how past wounds or unmet needs have shaped your interactions with partners, friends, or even family members. Consider whether you’re attracting the same types of relationships because of unresolved issues, and ask yourself what new, healthier patterns might look like. Redefining Passion and Desire: Aries is known for its assertive, pioneering spirit. With Venus retrograde in this dynamic sign, you’re encouraged to boldly question what ignites your passion. Are you pursuing relationships and endeavours out of habit or societal pressure, or do they truly resonate with your inner truth? This phase is a powerful opportunity to recalibrate your desires and set intentions that are aligned with who you are at your core. Integrating Both Energies Within: While it may seem like Mars and Venus represent separate energies - the masculine and the feminine - remember that these forces exist within every one of us. The introspection called for by Venus retrograde is as much about understanding your inner softness, vulnerability, and nurturing qualities as it is about cultivating strength and resilience. This balanced integration is essential for authentic love and connection. The Imperative of Inner Work: It’s All Within Both Mars and Venus retrogrades underscore an enduring truth: true transformation begins from within. External planetary movements may nudge us, but they cannot enact lasting change unless we are willing to do the inner work. This is a call to: Face Your Shadows: Embrace the discomfort that arises during these retrograde phases. Whether it’s anger from unresolved conflicts or the pain of old relationship wounds, allowing these emotions to surface is the first step toward healing. Re-evaluate Your Beliefs: Question long-held beliefs about your worth, your power, and your place in the world. Ask yourself if these beliefs serve your highest good, or if they are remnants of past conditioning that must be released. Commit to Continuous Self-Growth: Recognise that ascension is not a one-time event but an ongoing journey. Each retrograde offers a fresh opportunity to refine your inner world, thereby transforming your outer reality. Embody Balance: Integrate both your inner masculine and feminine energies. Whether you’re feeling the assertive drive of Mars or the reflective call of Venus, remember that the harmony between these forces is where true magic happens. It’s not about choosing one over the other - it’s about embracing both in their full complexity. Conclusion: Embracing the Journey Toward Individuation The recent Mars retrograde provided a mirror into the depths of our personal power, urging us to confront and heal the inner wounds that stifle our progress. Now, with Venus retrograde in Aries, the call is to address the emotional and relational aspects of our being. The essence of this cosmic dance is simple yet profound: nothing changes until we are willing to change within. As you stand at the crossroads of these transformative energies, remember that the divine duo - like every part of your soul - are a reflection of the universal balance. In healing your inner world, you catalyse transformation in your external reality. Embrace the journey with courage and vulnerability, for the path to individuation is forged in the fires of inner work. Ultimately, when we truly embody the truth of “as within, so without,” we unlock the power to create a life of authenticity, love, and boundless possibility.
